"I'll destroy anything that stands between me and my daughter. Even if that's you.
And you very well know you can't win this case against me," Jungkook's voice was low, dangerous, each word like a blade.

His hand shot forward, gripping Taehyung's jaw tightly, forcing her to meet his eyes. Tae winced, struggling to break free from his hold, but his grip was unrelenting.

"I can file for Gukk's custody too... and put countless charges on you," he continued coldly. "Like how you ran away, stealing him away from me." His words were sharp, meant to corner her completely.

Tae's voice trembled as she asked, "What... do you want?"

For a second, Jungkook's heart ached at her broken tone.....something inside him cracked.....but he quickly masked it, his expression hardening again.

"You have to come back to the mansion," he said firmly, "and live with me... along with our children."

He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a possessive whisper. "And remember one thing, Taehyung... we are not divorced."

Jungkook finally let go of Taehyung's jaw, his dark eyes still locked on her. She rubbed the sore spot, glaring at him with every ounce of hatred she could muster.

"You have five days," he said coldly, his tone dripping with control. "Five days to think about it... and shift to the Jeon mansion."

Before she could retort, he caught her wrist, his thumb brushing against her palm deliberately. His lips curled into a sly smirk.
"They've become softer," he murmured, his voice almost mocking, referring to the slap she had landed on him earlier.

Taehyung's glare deepened, her eyes burning into his like daggers. She yanked her hand back, but the heat of his touch lingered.......

Taehyung's hands were gripping the steering wheel so tightly her knuckles turned white. The moment she stopped the car with that loud thug, her body slumped forward, her forehead pressing against the wheel as her chest rose and fell rapidly.

Hot tears blurred her vision.
Her voice cracked as she whispered to herself, "Why, Jeon... why are you doing this to me?"

Her breath hitched.
"Can't you see my happiness? Can't you see I finally... finally built something without you?" she muttered bitterly, the pain in her voice raw. "You were like this from before... controlling, suffocating... Can't you just let me live in peace for once?"

Her sobs echoed inside the silent car. Her mascara had already smudged at the corners of her eyes, but she didn't care. The weight of his threats pressed against her chest until it felt hard to breathe.

She wiped her tears roughly, looking out at the empty road.
Her mind kept replaying his cold words, the grip on her jaw, the smug smirk when he said she had five days.

It was suffocating.

But deep inside, there was a trembling fear.......because she knew Jeon Jungkook never said something he didn't mean.

Her breath came out uneven, chest rising and falling rapidly as the fear crawled up her spine.

Jeon Jungkook... she thought bitterly. One of the most powerful men in the country. He has the government in his pocket... and the mafia at his back.

The thought made her stomach churn.

How was she supposed to fight against someone like him? Someone who could bend the law with a single phone call... someone whose name alone made people lower their eyes and bow their heads.
