One weak later…

The courtroom was buzzing with tension. Tae sat stiffly in her chair, hands clenched in her lap. She had made up her mind....she would fight for her children. She would hire the best lawyer she could, leave no stone unturned, and make sure her kids stayed safe.

At her side, a small army of support.......Jimin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Jin, and Mark..........sat silently, offering silent strength and reassurance. Tae took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart.

The doors to the courtroom opened, and in walked Jungkook. He moved with his usual commanding presence, dressed impeccably, dark glasses shielding the intensity of his gaze. But it wasn’t just his presence that froze Tae.....it was the man beside him.

Standing confidently at his side was Advocate Aarav Malhotra,  India’s most feared and brilliant lawyer. Tae’s breath caught in her throat. Fear rippled through her....this was no ordinary courtroom battle. This was Jungkook, armed with a legal genius, coming for her children.

Mark leaned closer, whispering, “Breathe, Tae. We’ve got your back.”

Jimin squeezed her hand, eyes fierce. “Focus. Don’t let him scare you. You’re not alone.”

Tae swallowed hard, lifting her chin. She couldn’t show fear.....not now, not ever.

Jungkook’s eyes flicked toward her, just for a moment, and a small, knowing smirk brushed his lips. His obsession was quiet, controlled, but palpable. This was going to be a battle, and he was more than ready.

The judge called the court to order, and the fight for custody, control, and justice officially began.

The courtroom was tense, every whisper and movement amplified in the silence. Tae sat with Rhea Kapoor by her side, her palms tight around the folder containing all evidence. On the other side, Jungkook, poised and intimidating, sat with his advocate, Aarav Malhotra. The judge’s gavel echoed, demanding attention.

“Let’s begin,” the judge said.

Aarav stood first, adjusting his glasses. “Your Honor, I represent Mr. Jungkook Jeon. Four years ago, Ms. Taehyung left the marital home without notice, abandoning my client and their children. She took the children, leaving Mr. Jeon in a state of emotional and mental distress. This was not a decision made lightly or in necessity....it was unilateral, abrupt, and entirely illegal. My client has searched tirelessly for them. He has been deprived of his rights as a father. Taking children without the father’s knowledge is not only morally wrong, it is legally abduction. My client seeks to restore the bond that was forcibly broken and requests custody and reconciliation efforts be considered, as standard procedure during a separation or divorce.”

He paused, letting the words hang in the courtroom like a guillotine. “Your Honor, this is not a dispute of emotions alone. It is a question of law. Ms. Taehyung cannot claim to have the sole right over the children after four years of unilateral decisions. Mr. Jeon’s parental rights cannot be ignored.”

Rhea Kapoor, Tae’s advocate, rose calmly, her gaze sweeping over everyone in the courtroom. “Your Honor, with due respect, Ms. Taehyung did not take these actions out of selfishness or malice. She acted out of fear............fear for her life and the lives of her children. Mr. Jeon, while capable and powerful, has demonstrated patterns of emotional manipulation, obsession, and neglect. He ignored his son, taegukk, treating him as if he did not exist. How can a mother stand by while her child suffers? My client had no choice but to protect herself and her children. That night, she left not to hurt anyone but to survive, unaware she was pregnant with Kiara.”
