"Kogami, go to therapy! Gino and I will find Sasayama! Please, just, stop being stubborn!" I yelled, pushing Kogami back, away from the block.

"Sasayama is my partner! You might've known him longer, but I know him better! He was close to finding the murderer for this case and if he dies then it's on me!" He yelled back, attempting to push past the two of us.

"Masaoka, help! We can't let him go on like this!" I yelled at the man watching beside us.

"That's not my call to make, he's the inspector, if he thinks he can handle it, then let him handle it," Mr. Masaoka said while putting his hands into his pockets.

"I'm going to find Sasayama with or without your permission. You're the hunting dog, I'm the master, remember?! I'm going to find him whether you help or not!" He yelled after pushing past us and running down the street and further into the block that Sasayama had disappeared into earlier.

I knew he didn't mean it, about the hunting dog and owner thing, he was just mad. But that didn't stop it from stinging. He cares for Sasayama like his own brother, we all did. All of us except Gino. Even if it costs Kogami his job as an inspector, I hope he finds Sasayama alive. I really want him to be alive...

...

Hours had past with no word from Kogami or Sasayama. Masaoka and I stayed with Ginoza as we searched for them together, but it was no use. We couldn't find Sasayama's GPS signal and Kogami wasn't picking up. We had no contact with anyone and it was making the three of us paranoid.

Eventually, even if it's not what we wanted to hear in order to find Kogami, we heard him screaming. We ran towards the sound and managed to find him. He had both hands on either side of his head and he was screaming in horror as he stared at something in front of him.

We raced towards him to see the gruesome sight. Sasayama was dead. Cut up and displayed like... Like a messed up sculpture. Tears began spilling from my eyes uncontrollably.

I began screaming his name and Kogami and I ended out on our knees, crying and screaming for our lost friend. Our lost family.

...

"Hey, Ko, how are you?" I asked as I saw Kogami walk through the doors to the office. I hadn't seen him in weeks. I assume that he was getting therapy, either that or stuck in the same facility that I was in when they were observing my psycho pass.

"Demoted. I'm now an enforcer, just like you..." He said in a somewhat rude tone of voice. Not only did he have to suffer through the pain and guilt of his best friends' death, but now he has to go through the same humiliation as I did. Only, I've stayed myself through this all, but Ko... He's... Quieter. He's been keeping to himself. He doesn't want to talk anymore and he certainly isn't keen for work.

Gino can't even look at the two of us anymore. Both of us, his friends and partners, we were both demoted, one after the other. Taken away from him. He can't associate with us, he has too much pride for that. So now he's even more of a hardass than he was before and he doesn't trust anyone anymore. First it was his dad, then me, now Kogami. We all left him because we couldn't control our psycho pass...

He's fired the past three inspectors that came to work as his partner in division one and head office is starting to get annoyed with him. I wish he would just... Stop. He needs to move on but... I don't think he knows how.
