How We Met Juliette

Author's note and inquiry

A/N: First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read my HIMYM fanfiction. I am all for Barn-man and Robin and am still so mad that things ended the way they did. As a writer myself, I think it was crucial that Bays and Thomas should have taken into consideration how much their audience adored the idea of bringing Barney and Robin together. I understand that at first they were following in Ted's footsteps and playing the role of the architect (planning everything out to the last possible detail). But sometimes you have to step out of the organized closet and put on those gardener gloves. By bringing Barney and Robin together, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas planted a seed and failed to see where it grew (this is strictly my opinion and I understand that the ending was and still is a very controversial topic). But that is why we have been blessed with the world of fanfiction; a world where we are able to take the molds of a brilliant show and share our feelings and views in regards to how we believe things will or should have happened.

Secondly, if you want to know where the inspiration for Juliette's middle name, it was inspired by my favorite female character on the drama-mystery television series LOST. I know that during the  "Name that Baby" chapter, Barney's name for a boy was Jacob Daniel.  But I will tell you that when Robin was pregnant the second time around, she was watching a lot of 30 Rock and was pretty mesmerized by Wesley Snipes' British accent. If you have any more questions and concerns with the book, don't be afraid to comment and I will answer them whenever I can and to the best of my ability.

Lastly, if you would like a sequel (such as a story regarding how they met Jacob and Juliette adapting to the role of becoming a big sister) just let me know and I will get right on it. I promise to deliver nothing short of the humor and suspense that the show has brought since 2005.
