Chapter 21

Somer's pov

After that night out, Grayson and I had gotten a text from Nicole, about some party. We weren't gonna miss out. We drove straight to the designated address, and walked in hand-in-hand. It was packed with people we didn't know, so we just stuck together and danced. After a few songs, we decided to take a rest, because I was already breaking a sweat. We decided to sit with a group of people playing truth or dare. "OK, your turn!" A blonde girl squealed at me. "truth" I said, not wanting to do anything dumb. "Okay, are you a virgin?" she giggled. "Um.. yes.. I'm 16.." I said in a 'duh' tone. "Oh that sucks" she slurred. Drunkies man.. "Now you! truth or dare?" she asked Grayson. "Dare" he said, he never picks truth. "I dare you to make out with the girl who is farthest from you" she smirked. I looked around. She was the only other girl aside from me, and she was father away. I felt my fists clench, along with my jaw. As I watched them I bit the inside of my cheeks hard, so I don't explode. It's just a dare, just a dare, a dare, dare. I repeated that in my head, I began to taste blood and released my cheek. "Okay moving on!" I cheered fakely, causing them to finally pull apart. "OK blondie, truth or dare" I said in gritted teeth. "Dare" she said, smirking at Grayson. "I DARE YOU TO FUCKING LEAVE" I spat, spilling the drink I had on her, and tears formed in her eyes. I narrowed my eyes at the stupidity. "Somer.. that was kinda harsh.." Grayson mumbled. "WhAt?!" I said. "Here" Grayson said, giving her his hoodie. My favorite hoodie. I felt my heart drop as I realized what I had done. God, I have one drink and I'm already starting to lose my mind. "Oh my god.. I- I'm s-so sorry" I said in a hushed and high pitched tone. I backed away. "I- bye" I said, tears spilling down my cheeks as I walked away, into the kitchen. I don't want to remember any of this, so I am erasing it from my memory. I filled up a red cup to the brim with a strong smelling alcohol, and every time I saw Grayson helping the girl clean up, I took a big gulp, my vision getting blurrier with each sip. I stumbled over towards the dance floor and smiled shakily as I saw Ethan and Maddie dancing. "Graaayson?" I called out. I walked around a little more, until I tripped over someone. "Oh shit! Are you okay?" I heard a guys voice. "Um. No" I mumbled. "I can't find Grayson" I whined. Someone helped me back onto my feet, and came face to face with Taylor Caniff. "Oh. Hi" I smiled weakly. "I can help you find Grayson" He offered. "No- I know where he is" I said and stumbled upstairs, and to the bathroom. I walked in to see, Grayson and that girl trying to suck each other's faces off. "OH SHIT!" I slurred. They stopped and Gray's eyes went wide. "Baby!" he said and rushed towards me. "Hey! I am not a baby! And if I was, I definitely wouldn't be your baby!" I shouted and basically tripped back down the stairs. I went back over to Taylor. "Hey what's wrong?"he asked. I didn't even notice my tears. "I'm okay, just tired, can you give me a ride to my house?" I asked. He nodded and we hopped into his car.

Maddie's pov

*the next day* 

I woke up tucked into my bed. My head was killing me and my entire body was aching. I was wearing Ethan's sweatshirt and sweatpants.. I tried to get up, but as soon as I got on my feet, I landed on the floor with a thud. I heard fast footsteps coming toward me, when Ethan appeared. "Oh your up" He said, helping me sit back onto my bed. "Stay here" he demanded and I nodded. He came back wiht tea and handed it to me. "Thanks" I mumbled. He cuddled up next to me, but he seemed.. bothered. "What's wrong babe?" I asked. "Nothing, thinking about last night" he lied. "You are a bad liar, what happened last night?" I asked. "Lets just say you were excited. It was cute" he smiled to himself. "Oh no... did I totally embarrass myself?" I asked. "No, no, you were fine, you just, you had much lust for me" he blurted, instantly looking like he regretted it. "Oh god.. did I, did I try anything?" I stuttered. "No. I wouldn't let you. I would never want to take advantage of you like that" he smiled. "I love you"n I blurted and blushed. He cupped my face and his eyes met mine. "I love you too" he was leaning, but as soon as our lips grazed across each other, my phone rang.
