Mika: Amoy tinapang sinawsaw sa patay na starfish na ako.
Nagising si Mika nang madaling araw. Kakulay ng paligid ang paborito niyang kulay - gray. Makulimlim. She gazes into the horizon.
Krystal: Move.
Krystal appears in front of her and squeezed herself inside Mika's shelter. She sits beside Mika and starts to gaze into the horizon.
Mika: Can you be ruder than that?
Krystal: Sure. Move, bitch.
They both laughed.
Ara: May natutulog!
Narinig nila ang sigaw ni Ara galing sa kabilang shelter. They giggled.
Ara: Ang aga-aga, ang ingay-ingay.
Mika and Krystal are captivated by the view. Small waves crashing to the shore. The sun, preparing itself to awe the world.
Krystal: You should start again to get used to my attitude.
Mika: Be easy on me.
Krystal: They call me the Ice Princess in Korea. They said I'm rude and a snob and all.
Mika: It's rude to tell people they're rude and snob and all.
Krystal smiled.
Krystal: I know. They just... don't understand me.
Mika: Isn't it my obligation to understand you?
Krystal: Oh well, papel.
Mika: Hahaha! That's Tagalog!
Krystal: You taught me that one.
Mika: Did I? This is kinda deja vu.
They both got quiet.
Mika: Krys?
Krystal: Yup?
Mika: How was I before?
Krystal: What do you mean?
Mika: Was I happy?
Krystal: We were happy.
Mika: Tell me more.
Krystal: Mika... I have to pee.
Mika: Haha! Okay.
After a few minutes, Krystal came back.
Mika: So...
Krystal: I saw you last night.
Mika: Oh, that. She... Ara...
Krystal: What did I tell you?
Mika: Krys, calm down. She's harmless. Why can't we just be friends with her? Maybe one day she'll get better.
Krystal: You don't understand. I don't want to share you with anyone else.
Mika: Halika nga dito.
Mika embraces Krystal.
Mika: Feeling better?
Krystal: *gently releases herself from Mika's embrace* Did I say I feel bad?
Mika: Ayy. Gumaganon. Humanda ka saking singkit ka.
Krystal: I feel like I want to be stuck here forever.
Mika: Because I'm here.
Krystal: Get over yourself.
Mika: You're just tired of all the things you do as a celebrity. One day, you'll get tired of my face.
Krystal: The first one's right. But the second one... no. I don't think so. I mean, I won't. Ever.
Mika: You won't what?
Krystal: I won't get tired of this purdy purdy face! *squeezes Mika's cheeks*
Mika: AHHH!!!!
Ara: EHEM! *Ara roared from her shelter*
Mika: Ooops?
Krystal and Mika snickered.
Mika: Good morning, Ara! *calls to Ara, half teasing*
Krystal: Sorry, Ara! You can go back to sleep now.
Ara: Di bale! Salamat nalang! Maghahanap nalang ako ng makakain natin.
Tumayo si Ara at naglakad patungong dalampasigan.
Mika: Ui! Ara! Teka lang!
Krystal: For god's sake, people. We're still on earth. Don't alienate me with your language!
Sinundan ni Mika at Krystal si Ara.
Mika: Mangingisda ka na?
Ara: Kung may tutulong sa'kin.
Krystal: Hello? I'm here. Maybe we could talk to each other using THE world language.
Mika: Ayy. Sorry singkit.
Ara: We should learn how to fish.
Krystal: Good idea! Shall we start discovering some fishing equipments?
Mika: When was the last time we saw the sun rise?
They watched as the sun ascends from the ocean.
Ara looks at Mika.
Ara: Ang ganda.
They smile at each other.
