!!!!!!!!!!Author's Note!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Everyone! Happy Friday! I actually had time to update before I leave for band practice this week, so you get your update earlier than usual this week...Yay! I hope everyone had a good week. Mine was pretty normal. I've been trying to take it easy because my allergies are kicking my ass and I don't feel the greatest. I have been practicing my Halloween setlist and now I have a confirmed gig for that, so that's fun. I taught my voice lessons and tonight is band practice. We don't plan on doing much this weekend though, so that will be nice.
Anyways, this week, Gabe wakes Patrick up after feeding on him to taunt him and then offers him heroin, which Patrick doesn't want and warns him that mixing drugs is bad, but Gabe doesn't listen and gives it to him anyway. Patrick has a bad reaction to it and Gabe has to use his healing ability to fix it, but also has to give him a shit ton of his blood to do the rest. This will cause Patrick to have the longest, most vivid and scariest hallucination he's ever had. Gabe has Brad take him back to his cell, Joe asks why he was gone for so long, Brad explains, and then leaves. Joe comforts him. Brad goes to get Gabe, takes him to their meeting room and they talk about how they are going to punish the men that attacked Patrick and Joe in the shower. They also have to push back their timeline for that because Patrick won't be awake when they'd planned to do it. When they are finished, Brad takes Gabe back to his cell and "forgets" to close the door all the way.
I did want to take a minute to thank all of you for reading my story. I know it's long and it's going to continue to be long because there is a ton more things that have to happen before this story will be over. It will most likely end up getting split into two parts, mostly because Wattpad only allows a story to have 200 chapters. We are a long way away from that, but there is still so much more to this story that I want to cover. I'm also trying to physically and psychologically break a character, which takes time. If you stick with me, I promise that you won't be disappointed! I would also love to hear your thoughts on this story and what you think might happen!
As always, enjoy, tell your friends and if you like it, feel free to leave me kudos or a comment! If you'd like to discuss this story with me directly, you can find me on tumblr @dancecoaster. Happy reading!
Chapter 123
********Trigger Warning for Graphic Violence, Drug Use, and Mentions of Rape*********
Gabe feeds for a little longer but pulls off before he reaches the point of no return. He intends to feed on Sugar again tonight, so he can't take him that far or there won't be any left for later. He licks the bite marks to close them and rids Sugar of any other blood that is left on his neck as well as whatever has fallen onto the ground below his neck. With him unconscious, Gabe finally releases Patrick's body, and he is free to move of his own accord again if he were awake. Gabe debates whether he should wake Sugar up before he drugs him or if he should just let him sleep this off. He does really love it when Sugar fights him about the drugs. It might be fun to just barely wake him and watch him squirm as I drug him even though he begs me not to. I guess it comes down to how much I want to taunt him and I'm always looking for ways to taunt and punish him. Waking him up, it is. Now, should I wake him up painfully or shake him awake? Do you really need to ask that question, Gabe? You know you are chomping at the bit to cause him even more pain, so just get to it. Let's see, how can I painfully wake him up? I don't have my scalpel to dig into his foot. I suppose I could use my fangs, but I'm not sure it will have the desired effect. I suppose I could give it a try. If it doesn't work, I can always call Brad in here and use his taser. This is going to be so fun! With that, Gabe moves down to where Sugar's feet are, takes his shoe and sock off, brings his foot up to his mouth, and bites exceedingly deep into the bottom of his foot, pulling out and pushing them even deeper into it several times, achieving the intended effect. Sugar wakes up screaming almost immediately.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Please make it stop!!!!!!!!!" Sugar screams with tears falling down his face.
Gabe notices that the wounds from his fangs are bleeding heavily and Sugar won't be able to stay awake for much longer if he loses anymore blood, so he sticks his tongue deep into the first wound and spits in it to make it close faster and then does the same in the second wound. Apparently, that makes Sugar shriek even louder.
"Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! It burns so badly!!!!!!!!!!" Sugar shrieks.
Once Gabe has closed both wounds, Sugar just lays there breathing very heavily to try and deal with the pain uncontrollably crying. He's obviously lost too much blood though because he's starting to get quieter and is vastly approaching passing out again. Sugar is now barely conscious and struggling to stay awake. Time to get started.
"Oh Sugar! I have a surprise for you that will help with the pain." Gabe mentions.
Sugar is really out of it, so it takes a minute for him to figure out what that really means. When he figures out the significance of that, he wakes up more and tries to start backing away, but he is incredibly dizzy, his movements are clumsy, and his body is exhausted from the blood loss, so he doesn't get very far before collapsing onto the floor and almost blacking out. He fights it a bit longer, but he can't even keep his eyes open.
"Gabe, please don't...not safe...mixing is bad..." Sugar attempts to warn but that's as far as he gets before, he falls unconscious again.
Gabe sits there trying to figure out what Sugar was trying to tell him. He even tries shaking him to wake him up, but he doesn't even stir a bit. Think Gabe. The "please don't" is nothing new but I have no idea what he meant by "not safe," or "mixing is bad." I've given him heroin plenty of times and it's been safe enough, except that one time when I gave him too much and he vomited so many times he ended up in sick bay, but even that was plenty safe. His body should've been able to handle that much. It's not my fault that it just made him really sick. He probably just said that to stop me from giving him the heroin. As far as the whole "mixing is bad" part, I got nothing. What would I be mixing? It's not like I'm cutting the heroin with something like common dealers do. What I've been giving him is almost completely pure and I've been carefully metering how much he gets to do this in a very controlled manner. I don't know. Maybe he'd lost too much blood and was experiencing some delirium. It's possible when you drain a human enough. In general, you don't wake them up at that point, so if they are delirious, we usually don't know about it. I just couldn't resist though. I think I'm overanalyzing this. He probably was just trying to say anything he could think of to stop me from dosing him. I've done this hundreds of times already. He'll be fine just like he always is. With his mind made up, Gabe removes the bottle of heroin and the syringe from his pocket, measures out the dose he wants, jams it into Sugar's side, and pushes the plunger all the way down.
So far, things are going normally as far as Gabe can tell. Sugar's skin is warm to the touch. Gabe opens his eyes to see that his pupils are very small like they should be, and his body appears to be very relaxed as it usually is following the high. Things go downhill very quickly though. One minute he seems just fine and the next, his breathing slows down quickly and then he stops breathing.
