Y/n's POV

He isn't dead.
Although, to him, it seems that I am.

"Hi." I squeak, shoving my gloved hands, into my jacket's pockets to shelter them from the ice cold, winter weather. His hooded eyes glance at me from inside of his Range Rover, "Get in." Harry instructs.

His first two words to me, after a year and a half. Is he serious? I should just be happy that he decided to call me, and offer a ride, but I'm sure Anne forced him to.

"The weather's nice, right?" I try to stay cheerful, enjoying the time I have with him.
Harry glumly replies, "No, it's horrible." I can't help but turn my head to stare at him. Lifeless eyes with dark bags beneath them.

My old, happy Harry, loved winter. We'd always find or make time to meet at our treehouse, and watch a movie or two, and always, no matter what, talk.

Ever since I've told him, that I fancied him, he's been like this. Colder than the winter weather, and more distant than ever.

"Let's stop for coffee?" I smile, looking up at Harry. "I haven't got the time." He mutters, as he turns on the street for our school.

"Well what about after school?" I suggest once more, and he scoffs.
"Don't you see that I don't want to? Damn, Y/n!" He gets out, slamming the door behind him, and I follow him.
I shouldn't have pushed.

I sit beside him during lunch, finishing up his Calculus homework, as he converses with his group of friends.

"Did you see that new girl?" Harry's voice is pitchy, and I look up from the sheet of paper to find all him and his friends, eyeing Tianni.
"Fuck.." Harry whispers, dragging out the word to make my heart drop. He won't ever see me that way.

I comment, "She's pretty." Without skipping a beat, the guys snap their attention to me, all the guys but Harry.

"You're obviously prettier." Dan, Harry's best friend compliments me.
I hear a scoff. "Y/n isn't pretty," Grady, Harry's soccer team mate and friend adds which causes me to hold my breath.
"She's fucking hot!" The guys holler, offering high-fives around the table to Matt, Damon, Brenden, and just about the whole Varsity Football and Soccer team.

"You're fucking hot!" Grady meets my eyes, and the guys hoot; attention from the whole Cafeteria averting over to our table.

"Okay. You guys can stop now." Harry intervenes, obviously annoyed. "We were talking about Tianni." He smirks, and my eyes fall to his homework.

"We could go out for cookies." I make another effort in trying to spend time with Harry.
Harry rejects, "No. You're crazy! I've got too many things to do." He pulls out of the school, making the familiar ride home.

"If you could, can you tell my Mom I'll be home later for dinner?" He asks as I collect my stuff, opening the door of his car.

"Yeah, of course." I nod, making my way to his door, instead of mine, which was next to his.

Just as I turn around to wave goodbye, Harry is already speeding off.

At least his friends think im hot haahhaahahA )-:
