Harry's POV

I walk up to her room, after hugging Y/n's Mom, who I treat like my own.
When I get to her door, I don't even bother knocking. She was laying down, watching some show called 'Grey's Anatomy' while nibbling on something.

"Hi, Y/n." The scent of her room invites me warmly me from the harsh encounters with the winter cold on the short walk here.

"Hey." Y/n smiles, offering me her bag of what looked to be M&M's, which I kindly decline.

"You'll always be there for me right?" I blurt, her eyes trailing off her T.V to meet mine.

She sets her bag of M&M's down, frowning. "Of course, Haz. Is something wrong?" Y/n takes a seat in front of me, tucking her hair behind her ear, crossing her legs.

"No.. I just.. Needed some reassurance." I smile, causing Y/n to back off hesitantly.

"If you need to talk to me Harry. You can." Y/n crawls back to where she was laying and I just make myself comfortable.

"Can I stay over? Like the old days." I hop off the bed, to her drawers.

"I mean if you want to.." Her voice is quiet, as if she was holding back, not wanting to frighten me. I don't blame her. I was the one that didn't talk to her for almost a year or two, after she told me about how she fancied me. Then here I am, asking if I can stay over, like nothing's happened between us.

Why does Y/n put up with me? I give her so much shit.

"You know, I've been looking for this sweatshirt forever now. I almost cried because I thought I lost it." I hold up my favorite Green Bay Packers sweatshirt that has seemed to age.

"You kept a lot of things here." Y/n laughs, throwing an M&M at my face, but missing horribly.

"If you were try to throw that at me, I don't mean to be rude, but your basketball career will never blossom." I run and jump beside her on the bed, kicking my feet up in the air.

"So best friend.." I begin, dwindling with my fingers. Y/n's eyes are stuck on the Television. "How can I help you?" A bright smile is radiating off her face, which causes my lips to smile as well.

Y/n was always smiling. Always my happy girl.

"You wanna talk about boys?" I mimic a girl's high pitched voice, which results in Y/n holding at her stomach at the ache of laughing so hard.

"You would kill me if we talked about boys!" Y/n takes her hand, forcing my lips open to pop in some M&M's.
"You've got it all wrong." I chew on the handful she fed me, "I'd kill the boys you talked about." I smirk, watching Y/n teasingly roll her eyes at me, with a ghost of a smile of her lips.

"You wouldn't kill your own best friend would you?" She says, refocusing on her show, her cheeks full with her chocolate to snack on.

"What?" The mood shifts, after Y/n's one sentence is spoken. Y/n just smiles, and I'm about to explode, growing furious.

"You're interested in Dan? He's a douche! Yeah, he's our friend, but the way he treats girls. It's a no. No from me. I disapprove." Y/n looks at me like I'd spoken in a different language.

"I was kidding, Haz!" Y/n emits like its the most obvious thing in the whole world.

"You better have been. Or I would've-" Y/n shushes me, turning up the volume of her flat screen, when a character named Derek and Meredith speak after a kiss in the elevator.

"This stupid show is more important than me?" I kid, nudging at Y/n's leg which was covered by her thick comforter.
"Tianni's more important that me." I hear her grumble under her breath before she speaks loud and clear. "Yes, Harry. And this stupid show is definitely not stupid." Y/n punches my arm, but I'm left to think of the words which weren't said as boldly, hidden in the air, which she thought I didn't hear.

Why am I even thinking? I know she likes me. She's crazy for me.
