Chapter 20

Trevor's P.O.V

It's been 2 weeks. Cassidy hasnt even asked how my day was. She hasnt texted me. Not even once. I should check out her social media to see how she's doing.

*Cassidy's twitter has a bunch of flirty conversations with Luke and fans are shipping them*

*Cassidy's instagram is filled with pictures of she and Luke*

I can't look at anything else. Cassidy has clearly moved on. I didn't even know we are broken up. I can't believe they would do this to me. Maybe I should move on too.

Ironically, Alexis texted me.

Hey! Wanna meet at ihop for dinner?

I thought to myself for a moment. Alexis is great. I've been friends with her for awhile. She's also very pretty. Maybe there could be something there.

Sure! What time?

Lukes P.O.V

I'm so glad that Alexis set up Cassidy and I. Cassidy is just what I need in my life right now.

*Luke's phone rings*

Luke: Hello?

Anon: Lucas Thomas Korns. Just the person I need to speak with.

Luke: May I ask who's calling?

Anon: You'll find out soon enough. I just needed the clarification that this is definitely your number and that you and Cassidy are indeed together.

Luke: Uhm.. Yeah we're together, but..

Anon: *cuts Luke off* Okay great!

*Anon hangs up*

Okay that was weird. I'm going to have to ask Cassidy about this.

Trevor's P.O.V

I'm waiting for Alexis to get to ihop. I'm extremely nervous. I shouldn't be. This is just casual.. We've gotten dinner plenty of times in the past.

"Oh hey Trevor!" Alexis said.

"I was beginning to think you ditched me!" I joked.

"Haha nooo! I was just running late. Gotta love LA traffic!" She joked and added, "Besides, I'd never ditch you. What kind of person would ditch you for something else if you already have plans."

I thought about what Alexis said. Maybe I'm just taking it all out of context, but could she possibly be alluding to my situation with Cassidy? Nah.. I mean she probably has no idea.

"Yeah.. Who would ditch someone." I replied a moment later.

Alexis eyed me for a moment as if she knew what I was thinking. She took a sip of her pepsi and veered off the topic by asking, "So hows your music going?"

"Well it's actually going well! I recently released an EP and I'm currently working on a single." I said.

"I've listened to your EP. Your music is great!" She said.

We spent most of the night joking about overused youtube challenges until,

"Have you talked to Jenn lately?" She asked.

I thought back to the last time I saw her. Cassidy and I had caught her working with Anon. We haven't spoken since.

"Uhhh.. No I actually haven't. I guess she's pretty busy with her work." I said.

Luke's P.O.V

Cassidy came over to watch a movie with me. We watched Remember Me. She likes sappy movies so I sit through them with her. This one was actually pretty good.

"Cassidy?" I said.

"Yes?" She replied.

"I got this really odd phone call earlier.." I began.

"From who?" She asked as if she already knew.

"They wouldn't say. It kinda freaked me out and I thought you might know something." I said.

"Oh no..." She said, getting up and walking outside.
