Chapter 21

Luke's P.O.V

I ran to follow Cassidy out the door.

"Wait Cassidy!" I yelled out as I caught up to her only to realize that she was crying.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" I asked taking her into a big, tight hug.

"I.... y-you c-cant talk to me anym-more" She said in between sobs. My heart began to ache and I could feel it in the pit of my stomach.

"What are you saying?" I said in a soft, sweet tone.

"I don't know who was calling you, but at the same time I kinda do. You see, someone.. or maybe a lot of people are trying to ruin my life. I don't know who they are, but they all want me to suffer." Cassidy said in an almost automaton voice.

"I don't care who's trying to get you. It's not going to scare me away. In case you havent realized, my only serious relationship has been with a toaster and that was just for a video. You are so special. I'm not going to let some stupid dumb fucks ruin it for us. I have an idea. Go home and get some rest. I'm going to make some calls tomorrow morning. Stay safe and please smile for me. I'd hate to see you go to sleep upset."

"I'm afraid.. Can you drive me home?"

I checked my phone to realize it's already 3 am.

"Do you just want to stay here? I'll make you feel safe." I said sweetly.

"Okay.. Thank you Luke. You're wonderful."

*Lukes Bedroom*

"Sooo welcome to my bedroom" I said opening the door. Cassidy hasnt been in here yet.

"Real funny" she said trying not to giggle.

"Do you wanna borrow some clothes to sleep in?"

"Sure." She answered.

I walked over to my dresser and picked out 2 pairs of sweatpants and 2 tee shirts. I handed Cassidy one of each.

"You can change in my bathroom if you'd like" I said pointing to the door.

I finished changing before Cassidy so I decided to get comfortable, but then she walked in. I don't know if it was the lighting or the sparkle in her eye or the raw beauty, but something made her 10 times more attractive.

I must have been looking at her very lustful because she bit her bottom lip and blushed.

"Cass." I said raising up from the position I was lying in.

I don't know what came over me, but before I knew it, I had her pinned against the wall, leaving passionate kisses on her neck.
