Chapter 23

Cassidy's P.O.V

Waking up next to Luke has become a routine for me. Ever since the first night I stayed with him, I can barely get good night's sleep without him cuddled next to me. He makes me feel safe and warm in his arms.

11:23 PM

Luke walked towards me and eneloped me into a big hug, moving forward until we both fell on the bed.

We laid there, facing each other. Luke closed his eyes and I could tell he was tired. His hair fell over his forehead perfectly and slightly over his eyes. I moved his hair out from his closed eyes which then opened and stared into mine. He had a small smile on his lips which I was ever so tempted to kiss.

I leaned down and pressed my lips against his, closing my eyes.

I pulled back and rested my forehead on his, nudging my nose with his.

"Tired much?" I asked Luke whose eyes were lazily opened

"Mhmmm." He mumbled, nodding slightly.

I got goosebumps as a result of his cuteness. I smiled to myself and went to go brush my teeth and take my makeup off, but when I came back I found Luke fast asleep.

Cute.

I couldnt help it, I had to stare at him for a minute and take in all of his features. There's absolutely nothing I'd change. He's perfect.

I turned off the light, closed the door and cuddled up next to Luke.
How did I get so lucky?

Luke's P.O.V

It's the most soothing thing to wake up next to Cassidy. It makes those butterflies come back.. butterflies with muscles that is. I smile from ear to ear and pull her closer to me. I whisper "I love you" quietly in her ear and fall back to sleep.

Trevor's P.O.V

I've gotta find a way to break things with Alexis. I need to have Cassidy im my life again. I know I can win Cassidy back. I miss her and I love her and I wish I never doubted her faithfulness.
