Chapter 9

Trevor's P.O.V.

"Cassidy? What are you doing with Jen?" I asked.

"Well it's just part of my task you see. It was given to me lot longer ago than you would suspect." Cassidy said pretty uneasily.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"What I mean is that anon was never after me." Cassidy said.

"I don't understand." I said.

"I knew you wouldn't. Let me dumb it down for you. Anon was after you. I'm just part of the team. He used me to get to you." Cassidy said.

"I can't believe you'd do this to me.." I said.

"Well she did." Jen stated abruptly.

"So this game isn't over?" I said.

"Oh it's just beginning, my friend." Jen said.

None of this was making sense. I don't understand why Cassidy would hurt me like that. Why does this anon want me?

"We're done here. That's all we wanted you to know." Jen said after a long pause.

"Yeah whatever." I said walking away.

I'm furious. I thought she loved me. How could've this all been an act? I thought we were in this together, but the whole time she was against me.
