Everyone was scattered in groups of two or three, their frantic voices echoing in the night.
“AHANA!”
“AHANA!”
Divya looked at Shravani, panic in her eyes.
Divya: “We’ll go that way!”
Shravani: “Okay…”
Divya and Reyansh hurried off while Shravani followed Armaan, determination fueling their steps.

Meanwhile, inside a supermarket, Ahana hummed cheerfully as she filled a basket with snacks.
Ahana (to herself): “I’ll grab ice creams too… Advika loves strawberry, Armaan mango… and captain’s terrible choice— butterscotch. Mint, chocolate, vanilla for the rest…”
She smiled at the thought of surprising them, blissfully unaware of the shadow lurking outside.
After paying at the counter, she stepped out, balancing the bags. Two routes stretched ahead—one crowded, the other dark and silent.
Ahana: “This way’s shorter. I’ll take it…”
She walked into the alley, dialing her mother.
Ahana (on call, smiling): “Mom, I’ll be home late. Don’t wait up, okay? Bye…”
Ending the call, she strolled on, humming—when suddenly, a hand yanked her back and slammed her against a wall. She gasped, terror flashing in her eyes, but a rough palm clamped over her mouth before she could scream.
Her blood ran cold. The face leaning close was one she prayed never to see again.
Aditya.
Her mind flooded with memories of his torment—the kidnapping, the torture, the nights of fear.
Aditya (smirking, voice low): “Ahana Singhania…”
Ahana’s eyes widened. Summoning courage, she bit his hand, shoved him, and bolted down the alley.
---
Elsewhere, Abhimaan’s voice broke through the night.
Abhimaan (shouting desperately): “AHANA!!”
His chest ached with fear.
Rudra and Advika searched frantically.
Advika (crying, panicked): “Dude! Where is she? Where’s Ahana?!”
Rudra: “Ahana!!”
Advika’s tears blurred her vision, but she didn’t stop running.
Armaan, Shravani, and Rihaan were combing the streets.
Armaan: “Ahana!”
Shravani: “AHANA! Where are you?!”
Rihaan (panting): “She’s not here…”
Shravani (urgent): “Keep searching!”
They didn’t stop, even as exhaustion clawed at them.
---
Meanwhile, Ahana sprinted through the alley, terror clawing her chest. Behind her, Aditya’s footsteps grew louder, faster. She turned a corner—only to find him already there.
He yanked her hair, dragging her back, then shoved her hard. She fell, her forehead striking a rock. Blood trickled down as she winced in pain, scrambling backwards.
Aditya pulled a knife from his pocket, his eyes wild.
Ahana (trembling, voice breaking): “Why are you doing this?”
Aditya (snarling): “It’s all your fault…”
Ahana (desperate): “What have I done?!”
Aditya (shouting like a madman): “EVERYTHING happened because of you!”
His voice echoed like a demon’s cry. Ahana crawled back until her spine hit the wall, her breath ragged.
Then, with psychotic pride, he began ranting.
