Neha clapped.
“Wow. Shock proposal.”

Everyone laughed.

Armaan pouted but didn’t look sad for long.

They all raised their glasses.
Everyone did a couple shot—except Armaan.

“This is so annoying,” he muttered.

Later, after the reception, they walked together on the road.

“It’s been so long since we hung out like this.”
“This was so much fun.”

Armaan grinned.
“Second round?”

Ahana smiled.
“Then should we go there?”

Everyone nodded.

They reached the university stage—the place where everything had begun.

Everyone walked ahead, but Ahana stopped, staring at their photo on the awards wall.

“Wait for me!”

“Hurry up!” Advika called.

Ahana ran and held Abhimaan’s hand.

Armaan watched them, sighed, and looked at Arya’s photo on his phone.

He whispered,
“You were like rain—just for a while.”
“I haven’t seen you for three years…”

He imagined her beside him, walking hand in hand.

Everyone laughed at his expressions.

Ahana teased,
“Don’t worry... Mr. Ramkishan said it’s not lifelong.. Maybe you’ll meet someone in your fifties.”

They all sat on the stage, forming a loose circle ⭕

“It’s been so long…”
“Ah, the memories…”
“It still looks the same…”
“Our old memories!”

Neha, Shagun, and Shravani suddenly stood up, dancing the same old steps in excitement.

Atharva laughed.
“Why are you three so excited?”

Abhimaan raised an imaginary glass.
“Let’s make a toast. Youth is—”

Everyone shouted together,
“RIGHT NOW!”

Rudra groaned.
“Are you still using that line?”

Laughter echoed across the empty auditorium as they talked endlessly about the past.

---

After a while, Ahana moved to the edge of the stage, staring at the empty seats in front of her. The place felt alive with memories.

Abhimaan joined her, sitting beside her.

“What are you doing here all alone?”

Ahana smiled faintly.
“Nothing… I was just thinking about the old days.”
“Do you remember what I said when I was a freshman?”

Flashback

Rain poured as Ahana and Abhimaan sat at the edge of the stage.

Ahana spoke softly,
“I think I get it… If this place is packed and everyone is shouting…”

Abhimaan smiled.
“It’s the best.”
“You only understand it once you experience it.”
