I woke up in a white room. I can see a bright light that's hitting my face. When I slowly raise my head a little and peak, I saw a doctor and Max. The doctor is talking to Max. What Max is here?! What is he doing here. I can clearly remember what he told me so, what the hell is he doing here? I can clearly remember it because those words hurt me like hell that made me end my life but I guess He don't want me to die yet.
They're walking towards where I am. Act like you're still sleeping.
I can feel that there's a weight on the side of my bed and I bet it is Max.
"Is she going to wake up soon?"
"Yes she is.."
"That's all I wanna hear, that she'll going to wake up. Thanks doctor."
"You're welcome. I better get going so you can have a lone time with her."
"Thanks again doctor."
I heard the door swung open then close so I guess the doctor already left. There's a hand caressing my face and tuck some hair that's hovering my face behind my ear. Then there's a drop of liquid that fell into my hand.
"I'm sorry I did this to you. I'm sorry because I become coward."
What is he talking about?
"I'm sorry because I become scared to know your own answer about me loving you and instead, I listen to what the others thought about the outcomes if you knew that I love you."
Did he just confess to me his true feelings for me?
"I'm sorry because I listened to Chloe although I knew I should never listen to her like what I always tell you."
I'm starting to get confused. What did Chloe tell you. Tell me.
"I'm sorry because I made a deal with Chloe. A deal that I'm going to kiss her when you're about to come and for exchange, she and her friends will stay away from you."
I can't do this acting anymore. I'm going to stop this act and get things clear to me.
I slowly open my eyes.
"You're awake now Sophie!"
I slowly sit and Max helped me.
"I'm glad that you're a-"
"Tell me more about your deal with Chloe." I cut him off.
"D-did you h-hear what I say?" He stutters.
"Yes, I did all hear what you say from start, about your confessions until your deal with Chloe. Tell me all the things that I should know."
I don't want to be that girl anymore. That girl that always stay on the corner of the room. The girl that never accepted by the society. That girl that they call freak. And especially that girl who always stay silent and never get the answer to all of her question. I going to be a better girl from now on. When they break me into million pieces is enough and over. Saying those lies to me is enough and over. From now on, they're going to see a better girl.
"JUST TELL ME ALL THE THINGS THAT I NEEDED TO KNOW! JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH!" I shout to his face.
He was surprise to my sudden reaction. He never knew that I'm going to react like that. He don't know that the girl he broke the heart is already dead and the girl in front of him is a new girl.
"I made a deal with Chloe because she knew that I like you and she threatens me that she'll going to tell you. I don't want that to happen because you confess to me that you're afraid to love and to be loved by someone. And she told me that you might be break into pieces because of what your afraid of is going to happen and you may cut yo-"
"You think I'm really a psycho huh? You think that I'm going to cut because of that lame excuse?!"
"No, no it's not what I me-"
"SO WHY DID YOU LISTEN TO CHLOE THAT I'M GOING TO CUT?!"
"Because I can't think clearly because things happening so fast and within a minute you're going to arrive when that happen so I don't have enough time to think before you arrive."
"Just continue the story you started."
"And with that I made her promise to me that she and her friends will stay away from you and not going to disturb you anymore."
"So does that mean you gave up on me?"
"No, what made you think of that?"
"BECAUSE IT IS CLEAR THAT YOU WANT TO END ALL THE BULLSH*T THAT'S ALWAYS HAPPENING TO ME."
"Because I don't want to see you get hurt again."
"But you told me that we're going to end this together but based on what you did, you just want to get away from me and made a deal with a b*tch for my safety."
"Because that's the only thing that I can think of."
"BUT YOU PROMISE ME THAT WE'RE GOING THROUGH THIS TOGETHER! YOU MADE A PROMISE TO ME MAX! YOU MADE A PROMISE!" can't help but to shout. The rage from my body is rising. I never felt of this before.
Suddenly the door swung open and the doctor came in.
"I heard shouts from here." Said the doctor. "You should not shout Miss Ferguson you're just from an accident or if it's an accident."
"I'm sorry doctor, I'm the one who made her shout." Max said.
"Doctor can you please send him out, I don't want to see his face ever again." I ask the doctor.
"Sophie please let, me stay."
"No, I said GET OUT. DIDN'T YOU HEAR THAT I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE ANYMORE?"
"Uhmm, Mr. Payne, I think you should leave the room now. You're making Miss Ferguson stressed." Ask the doctor to Max.
Then with that, Max stood up and pick his jacket and leave the room. He looked at me for the last time and mouthed goodbye.
"Okay, and you Miss, I want you take deep breathes to make you relax."
I follow what the doctor told me to do. It help me a little but then I remember that my best friend, no scratch that, my former best friend made a deal with a b*tch, it's making my blood to rise up but I have to control it so I can get out here and make them take a look to a new girl.
"I'm relaxed now doctor, thank you!" I said.
"That's good. I just want to say that you're gonna stay here until you're completely recovered then when you're okay, we can release you."
"Okay doctor. I'm going to get better as soon as possible."
