Chapter 16

*Possible trigger warning*

"SHE DID WHAT?!?" Kelley exclaims as a crying Alex explains what she thinks happened between Lauren and Tobin.

"I-i can't believe she'd just go back to her like like that." Alex cries as her body shakes from the sobs as the shorter of the two pulls her into a tight hug rubbing her back comfortingly.

"There has to be a mistake...I don't believe Tobin would do something like that...especially to you. You two click together so well its crazy and I see the way she looks at you. She worships the ground you walk on Alex." Kelley says as she holds her distraught best friend.

Alex sniffs sitting up "I don't want to think about it anymore" she says her voice raspier than normal as she wipes her eyes.

"Then what do you want to do?" Kelley asks.

"Drink. I need something to take my mind off of her." Alex states.

"I uhm don't think that's a great idea" the freckled girl says carefully.

"Kelley. I don't care if it is the worst idea in the world. I need the pain to go away." The ocean eyed girl says.

Kelley sighs "Well it is a Friday I'm sure there's a party somewhere"

"Austin is throwing one" Alex says standing up beginning to look for an outfit.

"This is such a bad idea" Kelley mumbles to herself.

"Tobin you need to slow down with the drinks" Carli says to her friend.

"Yeah seriously Tobes you're going to be completely shitfaced in no time at the pace you're going" Hope agrees with her 5'7" brunette friend.

The three friends are standing in Austin's house with people crowded everywhere while the music thumps throughout the house and into the street.

"I don't care" The shortest of the group states simply before finishing off her drink.

Hope and Carli exchange worried glances.

"Tobin I understand that you loved Alex but-" Carli begins but is cut off by a very angry and drunk Tobin.

"Shut the fuck up Carli you don't understand anything just leave me the hell alone" Tobin almost yells as she storms/stumbles passed her friends.

"Let her breath a little or it'll only get worse" Hope says to Carli.

"Let's just keep an eye on her alright? Make sure she doesn't do something stupid" the taller of the two says making Carli nod her head.

"Hey I see you made it" Austin says to (mostly Alex) and Kelley as they walk through the door.

"Yeah of course I did" Alex fakes a smile.

"Hey Lex I'm going to go find Hope so we can hang with her too" Kelley says to her friend.

The dark haired girl just nods before Austin strikes up a conversation with her.

"No way. Tobin would never do that to her, she's literally in love with her" Hope says as Kelley relays everything that Alex told her earlier that day.

"I know. Lauren must've set her up or something" the shorter of the two says.

"We need to get them to talk and make up" Hope says.

"I'll talk to Tobin you talk to Alex, sound good?" Kelley asks her girlfriend.

"Perfect. I'll text you once I convince her" Hope says.

"Alright"the freckled girl smiles leaning upwards to plant a short kiss on her girlfriend's lips before walking off to find Tobin.

"Here I brought you a drink" Austin flashes Alex a smile as he hands her the beverage.

"What's in it?" She asks as she looks in it.

"It's a secret. It's my signature drink" Austin smirks.

"Oh uhm okay" the shorter of the two says before taking a gulp.

Alex coughs at how strong the drink is but she also tastes something she's never tasted before but shrugs it off as nothing.

"Easy there tiger, don't hurt yourself" Austin chuckles.

Alex flashes a fake smile before quickly downing the rest of the drink wanting to forget a certain hazel eyed brunette.

Everything soon seems fuzzy to her though and its like the room is spinning.

"Austin...." She trails off. "Wha-what was in that drink" she slurs.

She feels him slide his arm securely around her waist.

"I told you. Its a secret" he whispers in her ear with a sickeningly sweet smile.

He drugged her.

She tries pulling away from him but is too weak to even form a coherent sentence at this point.

"Maybe you should lie down" Austin smirks.

"Come on I'll take you" he says as he leads her down a hallway.

"No no" Alex slurs her words together her vision hazy as she attempts to pull away from the taller figure.

"Shhhhh its okay baby girl I'll make you feel real nice" he whispers as he takes her in a room shutting the door.

"N-no no A-austin" she slurs as he lays her down on the bed and begins unbuckling his belt.

He plants a rough kiss on her mouth. When she tries turning away he narrows his eyes.

"Dumb bitch kiss me back" he says gripping her throat kissing her roughly again shoving his tongue into her mouth.

"I can't find Alex anywhere" Hope says to Kelley after pulling her away from Tobin and Carli.

"That's weird... Maybe if we all look for her we can find her" Kelley suggests.

Hope nods "Yeah sounds good. You take Tobin I'll take Carli"

"Alright" Kelley nods as the two go explain everything to Carli and Tobin.

The group splits up and begins their search for their ocean eyed friend.

"Hey uhm Kell?" Tobin slurs slightly.

"Yeah?" Kelley turns to look at her friend.

They are standing in the middle of a hallway.

"I didn't uh I didn't cheat on her. I'd never do that" Tobin says looking down.

"I know Tobes that's why we are looking for her so you can explain everything and you two can go back to being Mrs. And Mrs. Heath." Kelley smiles.

"Mrs. And Mrs. Heath huh?" Tobin chuckles.

"Yeah that's what we call you two behind your backs" the freckled friend giggles.

"I like it" Tobin smiles. "Oh my god I think I'm going to be sick" she groans opening the first door she sees bursting into the room ready to empty the contents of her stomach but the sight she sees sobers her up and makes her forget about her stomach real quick.
