Chapter 21

"I'm going to miss you so much" Tobin murmurs to her girlfriend as she runs her fingers along the crystal eyed girl's bare spine.

"I'm going to miss you too Toby" Alex says kissing Tobin's shoulder.

Its the day Tobin leaves with Kling and the rest of the soccer players. The couple have spent their day together (mostly in bed).

The two hear Hope open the front door "Hey you two we have to leave in ten!" Hope yells up the stairs before going back out to Kelley who's leaning against her car.

Alex sighs "I guess we should get dressed" she says softly before Tobin leans in pressing their lips together in a sweet kiss.

The two get up and get dressed. Tobin grabs her bag and walks downstairs in a muscle shirt covered by a slightly baggy hoodie, black Nike shorts, matching Nike socks, and a pair of Nike slides.

Alex follows her in running shorts and one of Tobin's v-necked shirts.

When they go outside they see Hope and Kelley hugging.

The light haired girl turns to her girlfriend. "I guess I'll see you in a month" she smiles sadly.

Alex crushes her in a hug "I love you" she whispers in Tobin's ear.

"I love you too" the slightly shorter girl replies.

"Have fun. I'll be waiting when you get back" the dark haired girl puts on a smile before kissing her girlfriend passionately.

"I'll see you in a month. I love you" Tobin tells Alex after they pull apart.

"Bye" Hope and Tobin wave to their girlfriends as they get in Tobin's Jeep.

"Wait turn here" Hope tells Tobin.

"Uhm okay" Tobin says turning into a neighborhood.

"Alright now stop here" the taller girl tells her friend.

"Why are we at-" the hazel eyed girl is cut off.

"Hope you don't mind a new addition" Carli says climbing into the back of Tobin's Jeep.

The light brunette chuckles "You're going to play soccer too?"

Carli shrugs "Kling said I'd make a good midfielder."

"Well alrighty then" Tobin smiles as she starts driving again.

"WHEN YOU CALL MY NAME ITS LIKE A LITTLE PRAYER IM DOWN ON MY KNEES I HOPE TO TAKE YOU THERE" Tobin screams/sings as she drums against the steering wheel.

Hope and Carli are singing along but not as violently as there hazel eyed friend.

The group has been on the road for about an hour. They have around four more hours to go before the arrive in San Francisco.

As the song ends Tobin turns the radio down "Guys I'm hungry, are you?" She asks her two friends.

"Yeah" Both Hope and Carli answer in unison.

Tobin soon pulls into a Taco Bell to get the three friends food.

Once they arrive Kling and Pinoe take them to the hotel they'll all be staying in while attending the camp.

"Okay and here is your schedule for the next month" Kling says as she thinks back to what Coach Ellis told her.

"Wake up at 5:00 to get ready and eat. Be to the field by 5:45, no later or we have to run extra laps at the end. We spend the next fifteen minutes talking about positions each player would be best in, each week we will have a player of the week, they will get various perks such as less laps, a get out of drill pass, picking their team for the scrimmage at the end of each practice, etv. and we will also talk about various colleges that we should think about attending. After we are through with that we go out to the field do our laps then begin practice." Kling looks to Pinoe for help.

"We will have short five to ten minute breaks after each hour. From twelve to twelve thirty we will have our lunch break. We will start practice again by no later than 12:45. At 2:45 we will have a fifteen minute break before we break into teams and start our hour long scrimmage. After scrimmage we are done with practice. We come back to the hotel to shower then meet in the dining room to eat dinner together. After that we are free to do whatever we want" Pinoe finishes off the schedule.

"Damn....strict schedule huh?" Hope asks.

"You'll get used to it after the first couple days" Kling chuckles.

"Now I'd get settled in and get some rest because tomorrow we do testing" The defender tells the three friends.

"Testing?" Carli asks.

"Yeah we test on the first and last day then compare results to show how much improvement we made" Pinoe explains.

"This sounds like a marine bootcamp" Tobin jokes.

"Trust me its not. Marine bootcamp is much easier" Kling tells them before her and Pinoe leave the three to get settled.

"This should be fun" Hope mumbles as they begin unpacking.
