The King was scared. That much was obvious. The King had a fearful look on his face. Everyone but Fire Storm did. They know who I am. I decided to clear up any wonderings. "I am the descendant of the first Cleaver Knight. I am the destined advisor to the King. That King!" I declared, pointing at the young prince. "I will soon gain weapons that shall be used for Sorardia's defense. I believe that my ancestor and you're ancestor both knew that the Dark King would return. So I will be ready. Will you?" I asked the prince directly. He looked at me almost in awe, but also fearful. So I unsheathed my blade and walked towards him. He stood his ground, with a look of wonder on his face. I inverted my blade, struck the ground with it, and kneeled.
"You will kneel to me! He isn't the King yet! He is just a boy!" The King commanded.
"And yet a King makes every possible preparation in the defense of his people!" I yelled. "What have you done?! Nothing! The Dark King will kill you before you're thousandth year!" At that moment part of the roof fell through. The entire room held out their hands over their heads but for Fire and me. The prince also seemed to hold his ground using only one hand to protect his eyes from the dust. His clothing somehow changed and a very intricate axe appeared in front of him. His shirt became blue, seemingly shining with an enchantment. A crown appeared on his head with Bloodonian rubies embedded into it. Black pants as well were in his clothing. The axe was obvious. As intricate as it was, it also glowed with power. The old Legendari Axe, never dulling, never rusting, always gleaming. He picked up the axe and hefted it, obviously liking the weight. I prepared my sword for whatever the attack was. It was Darkeon suiciders. They had knife grenades stuck into them and had some more in their hands. They weren't able to feel crippled because of some sort of numbing serum I guessed. I wouldn't be able to take them out. Guess luring them away form the palace would be best. "Phillip! Come on!" I motioned towards the door. He seemed to have already figured it out. He ran for me and Ariana followed. I never needed to tell her my plans because she always knew them before hand. Sometimes even figuring them out before me. Phillip gave her her sword back once he got within range. But once Phillip got to me he asked me a question.
"Why not actually fight them?" He asked. Guess I was wrong about him knowing the plan.
"Well, neither of our weapons can make them feel pain because of a numbing agent of some sort. My blade is also a bit worthless against them because it's a Changi Blade, designed to cause all the pain a cut would yield in an instant, normally knocking out the enemy," I explained. "Your blades would be able to take them down but the knife grenades would still go off. Best lure them away from the palace and into some open field. Let's go!" They both followed me quickly and without question. We exited the palace interior and were in the courtyard. I ignored everything because of the rush so there aren't any details to be remembered. I didn't look back because I knew the suiciders were right behind us. They made groaning sounds that didn't sound appealing, rather quite...horrid. I made a turn and went through a doorway. That's really all I remember of it.
After about 5 more minutes of running we heard an explosion. Then another, then another. We looked around and there was one final suicider. He ran up to us and screamed. Still no explosion. Shouldn't he have exploded with the others? Guess somehow every one of the knife grenades were duds. Lucky us. Course then he fell on the ground writhing. Guess the serum wore off a few seconds after the knife blades trigger. So I did the best thing for the guy. I took out the knives, since that was really all they were now, then I sliced him in every spot he had a knife cut. He was knocked out immediately, and the wounds healed. "How in the world did that happen?" Phillip asked.
"Perhaps I forgot to mention...my blade also heals them afterwards," I explained. "We'll be able to question him now." I picked up the poor guy and started hauling him to the castle. I actually got to appreciate the courtyard and the door. The door was like any other door in the entire castle's compound, but the courtyard was naturally grown it seemed. With a few trees here and there, mainly the magic tree of dogwood, once a skinny tree, now a broad powerful looking tree, which the Lord seemed to have restored. There were also some flowers, their colors ranging from blue, to red, to purple. A fountain in the middle has a cross engraved on it, with the water coming out of the top and sides. I walked up the stairs, and upon entering the throne room, I was greeted by spears.
"Seize him! And the girl!" The King said. "Bring her to my office! The other throw in the dungeon. And lock my son in his room!" He walked out of the throne room towards a door labeled,"PRIVATE". I had to drop the prisoner. Some of the guards took Phillip away into one door, others were actually struggling to capture Fire, and the guards that came to me couldn't get through my guard stance. Period. I'm deflected every slash, hack, or stab, normally using one of my best defense moves, where I twirled my body and kept my sword in the same spot while it went in circles, creating an almost impenetrable barrier. Finally I grew tired, and exited the regal, though foul in my mind not because of its look, but who made the experience I had in it foul, with several back flips. I would rest, then get Fire out of there. I didn't have time to see what they did to the suicider.
