After both Lostier and Cleaver left, I was the last one to prep. I had about an hour before my time to take my leave, so I walked through one of the hallways on the way to the private armory of the Legendari. While I walked, crossing a bridge to the armory, I looked out at the city below. The city was definitely a lot greener now then how Cleaver described it to me then. The houses were less dusty, the water streams are half full, grass and trees were growing, yeah, much better than before. I finally reached the door, typed in the code for the keypad, and waited. Nothing happened. I typed the code in again. Still nothing. Now this was interesting. All the Legendari, with the exception of Amos and Isaac, due to their hostility towards each other, had access to the armory. Why wasn't I getting in? I pulled out my axe, having to pull up, then back down to unlock the sheath, and hefted the weapon. Within three seconds, I had cut down the door and kicked onto the floor by some mystery warriors. I rose again, to find Fireeze and Salli fighting with the warriors. How they had gotten here I didn't know, and didn't need to know.
"Stop!" I ordered, and watching as everyone stopped, it seemed my voice of authority was taken seriously. "What is this? Who are you? And why are you here?"
"We are the ones that defend the Legendari armory!" One warrior stated. "That is all you need to know!" He lunged at my, and after I knocked away his sword, Salli swung her sword in an arc and some sort of light magic was sent towards the man. He didn't even look frightened. And I found out why. He merely put his hand out, stopped the magic when it hit his hand, and clapped his other hand on top of it. He opened his hand, and a ball of light element was in his hand. He out his other hand over the light, and dispersed it in a dazzling display of light element.
"What the blazes!?" Fireeze exclaimed. In another few seconds I was on the ground a blade to my neck. "I thought you didn't exist!"
"What them?" I asked hoarsely, due to the blade on my neck. "What do you mean?"
"Quiet!" The man said, his accent a notably Imbirian.
"I guess you haven't heard the stories. These men are Element Weavers, able to turn an elemental attack into a simple element, which is much stronger than an elemental attack," Fireeze informed.
"You're very smart Fireeze," the man complimented in a wry manner. "But this man is now going to die for trying to trespass into the Legendari armory! By order of the Cleaver Knight!"
"Hold it!" Salli ordered. The Element Weaver faltered. "I'm Cleaver's daughter, so I have authority over you, and he is a Legendari! Killing him would be traitorous to Sorardia!"
"He cannot control his power!" The Weaver said. "Meaning he is no Legendari! Cleaver told me to stop anyone from trying to get in! So that is what I'll do!"
"He didn't mean kill! And Phillip is considered a Legendari whether he can control his power or not!" Silence after this statement.
"Fine!" He pulled the sword away from my neck, and stepped away. "Get your stuff, then leave." I got up, rubbing my neck. I nodded, a stern look on my face. What in the world was wrong with him? I went into the armory, grabbed my armor, and an extra staff, just in case my axe and borrowed sword was knocked away in a battle. Then I walked out, and both Fireeze and Salli were speaking sternly with the Weavers.
"Your life is worth nothing larger than the king's, Cleaver's, or a simple citizen of the Sorardian Empire," Fireeze said, almost explaining to them. "Trying to murder the future king of Sorardia just because you don't think he is a Legendari will get you courtmartialed."
