"Welcome! Welcome! Welcome all! To the most famous arena of all time! The Arena Kero!" an announcer said, to a crowd that only the Arena Kero could hold. Over 500,000 people. "Today we welcome four fighters into the arena family! Crassontal, the Black Hole Breaker! Kemp, the Black Ice Beater! And Sephasi, the Darkfire Master! I've only named three because the other, has had to send a substitute. Instead of the Cleaver Knight, we have...Lostier, the Revival Sun's commandant." The crowd clapped for all but me. The Dark Elementalists roared, and I merely bowed. I looked at the arena. A very large building, towers in one area, a small maze in the other (though it was truly a medium sized maze) and two plain areas. All of it was made with red sandstone. I then looked at my competitors. The Crassontal fellow had a hammer, was wearing a black hood, and other black clothing. Semp, had some shiny black armor, but it was, somewhat clear. Translucent is the better word. He also had a spear that looked like it was the same material. Sephasi, he had interesting armor. Black with some red flames. Oooook? Doesn't help in the defense but I guess esthetics are still good, right? He also had a sword that seemed to eminate darkness rather then heat. Me? I wore my usual. Revival Sun armor. So some dark red with a hood over my head. That rhymes! Whatever, my weapon was the Revival Sun Pike.

"Prepare for the battle!" the announcer thundered. Me and my competitors got into our starting positions, four Xs close to the different corners. My corner was the one with the pillars. "3...2...1...FIGHT!" The battle began. I immediately jumped on top of a pillar. I saw Sephasi run into the maze and saw the other two dashing towards my area. I continued jumping from pillar to pillar, watching as some broke from the force of the jump. I watched for any that were cracked, so that I could cause some difficulty for my opponents. I saw them taking more time to jump than me, so I guess they weren't as practiced as I was at parkour skills. Yes, I call it that. It's what it is. I waited for them to get close enough to me to actually start attacking. I knocked Kemp, the one closest to me, off quite easily by hitting the pillar and breaking it to pieces. I then leaped towards the maze, and found Sephasi on top of the walls. He saw me and readied his sword as I readied my pike.

"How bout this for a competition?" I taunted as I swung my pike towards him. He tried parrying but his sword was sent flying. "The pike..." I said as I kicked him back into the maze,"beats the sword!" Now all that was left was Crassontal. He jumped towards me and brought his hammer down as quickly as I could roll away. But then the impact spot left something interesting. A round shape that seemed to suck the life out of everything but him. I even felt its pull. So I did what my main use of Revival Sun is. I thrust the pike into the ground, causing a wave of magic to hit the Black Hole. It instantly dissipated. I sighed in relief. Now I know why he's the Black Hole Breaker. I hit him with the shaft of the pike. He fell off the maze with a loud thump. I was the victor, but I wasn't celebrating. So the Cult of Nolite is reforming. How fun.

"So do you have all the resources for the rescue mission, Ben?" I asked. We were planning on breaking out the king and Fire Storm, and Ben was the Inventor, so he would be able to help us with the break out.

"Getting extremely close, just need to finish the last few threads of the Kevlar. Then finish the charge-up of the
Escrima," Ben said as he weaved the threads of Kevlar. He tightened the threads and put the armor down. "Done with the Kevlar. Now to wait for the Escrima, shouldn't take but a few minutes."

"Course we need some stealthy ways of getting in. Our first stop should be the Prince's room. I've no idea what the King did with Fire. Hope it isn't too serious," I informed Ben. The girl walked into the room, holding her shoulder. I went over to her. "You alright?"

"Thanks to you two," she replied weakly.

"Here..." I grabbed a chair, "have a seat."

"Thank you," she slowly sat down. Both me and Ben finally got a good look at her. Not unattractive, brown hair, originally tied in a braid, but was now a bit roughed up from all the commotion, horrible clothes, but then again Svictorans usually always had bad clothing. "So what are you planning?" she questioned. Me and Ben looked at each other. My eyebrow raised and he had a look of total astonishment on his face.

"We're planning on busting two friends out of the king's castle," I decided to say plainly. "They're being held for no true reason. The king is just thinking wrongly, believing Pacifism will protect us from evil. And to think. He's already executed people and the Dark King hasn't killed a single person. Well maybe the suiciders but they are already in enough pain as it is. They do it just to get out of the pain. And the reward? A painless death." I scowled and balled my hands together into fists. The king had caused more lasting damage than the Dark King of the first Sorardian Era. This shouldn't have happened. Thankfully, the next king shouldn't be as bad. After all, he was the one to actually start training in secret. I sighed. "I know you feel like you are in our debt, but at the moment, no offense, you're too weak for much anything. Erid will take care of you of a while. Once we get those two out we'll be back to rebuild the glory of Svictoran. Just be careful," I said, putting my hand on her good shoulder. "In fact, I think it best if you take everything slowly."

"Ok," she said nodding as slowly as possible. "By the way, I almost forgot, my name is Anne Rae."

"Nice name, I'm the Cleaver Knight. I'm guessing you know Ben. And the girl that helped you through most of the ordeal was Salli, my adopted daughter," I replied to the information. "Now get some rest, you'll need it."
