"Salli! Get the girl inside!" I commanded. "I'll figure out where the shot came from!" I looked toward Ben. "Follow her inside. I'll deal with whoever is trying to kill you," He just stood there. "Get inside! Your current weapon is completely irrelevant in this situation! It's a Darkeona Railgun, second class! Basically destroys your physical body! First class kills everything about you, so be glad it's not that! She may have been shot but in a non fatal area, so the incineration effect won't begin until later. We need to get the bullet out."
"There's a bullet in Railguns?" Ben questioned me.
"Maybe I should call it an energy capsule full of deathly energy?" I said sternly.
"I'll get the king, he probably won't help but maybe," Salli commented. Good, she knew what was needed. "Ben, can you get the capsule out?"
"Depends on where it is," he turned to me. "But most likely."
"Good. Get to it," I commanded. They went to the castle quickly. I looked around the arena for a bullet mark. None. Guess the bullet is inside her body. Would've been too easy. "Where was the girl standing?" I said to the remaining crowd, for some reason staying behind. "And why are you still here, when any one of you could get shot?" One man pointed to one spot. There were some light scuff marks on the ground. Makes sense. She jumped so there would've been some. I had quickly glimpsed the wound in her body. It was in her shoulder. Trajectory, no idea. I looked around and the only good sniping position was.........a business building? Dusty like everything else, but it was tall and obviously there were venders inside. It was the only building with windows, so I could see the vending carts, people, and of course the stairs up to the second floor. But there's six floors, and the trajectory leads higher...hmm. Jetpack. But how? The only jetpacks are from Astronomia. Wait, wasn't that suicider Astronmian? His skin tone was a bit lighter. Not Darkeon. I should probably check up on him later on. But for now, what is it their killing for? Betrayal? From what? Money? Probable. Slavery or mercenary? That's it isn't it?
Whoever it was, was no where to be found. I guess checking on the girl would be the best option for now. I went ahead and went back inside the palace. Only to find that the Svictoran King was arguing with Ben. "I told you, this girl will not get any medical attention!" He hissed.
"Why is it that you have no love for children, or even life anymore?!" Ben yelled.
"Because life is a curse! One day you're sleeping in a nice decent castle, in a bright green community than the next things you know, it's a desert with a burnt down castle! Or perhaps you forgot about the old castle burning to a crisp?"
"I remember it just as much as you. Svictoran was one of the greatest places to have as a home!" I yelled. I was angry, the king of Sorardia wanted all dueling for the defense of Sorardia to stop and so he outlawed anything related to war, now the king of Svictoran was letting a girl die. No. Not happening. I drew my sword. "So the king of Svictoran lets a girl die when he could be asking for help in replenishing this city? How...how the great have fallen." I felt tears coming to my eyes. I remembered old Svictoran. And the king did too. Yet he does nothing to even try to get it back. He just sits back, and lets people die. But I had no time to overthrow him. Then rouges appeared at the broad doorway. One of them, looked like the leader, was quite tall, about my height, muscular, had a wickedly large sword on his back, was in a leather jacket, black, silky pants, had some pretty interesting gauntlets, really because the ends of his fingers showed. Looked like one of the people from a speeder gang. I blinked, and the tears went back into my eyes. Wait a minute. He looked surprisingly...akin to the king. Could it be...? "Who are you?" I questioned
"I am Erid. That is all you shall know about me," he replied. "I have come to overthrow this evil, abusive, foolish king!"
I stepped towards him. "Will you try to reenergize Svictoran after overthrowing the king?"
"Perhaps," he replied. He started stepping towards the king. "Unless he decides to work instead of enslave and abuse."
"I will rule forever! Every knee shall bow and every man will praise my name!" The king said.
"Oh? So God is out of the picture?" I questioned. The truth was now out. "So the Creator of all the universe is nothing to you, oh Farozeem Svictor?"
"Yes to everything...but the name," the king replied. "My name is no longer Farozeem Svictor, but Torsvic. Just, Torsvic."
"As I suspected. My foolish father would say goodbye to his old life, change his name, and become a dictator," Erid said. "Pleased to meet you fool!" At that point,"Torsivc" pulled out a sword, totally invisible to everyone till that moment and made a slash at the girl. She apparently was awake, and dodged the blade.
"As I suspected. Bad thing you're not my daughter. Now you're gonna be my slave if you survive!" The king hissed.
I lashed out with my blade and stabbed him straight through the abdomen. I pulled my blade out and looked at the wound. It healed instantaneously, and he fell over, unconscious. The girl fell as well. Seems she was close to death. "Ben! Get the bullet out!" He immediately started working as fast as he could on the wound. He pulled the bullet out, and it started dissolving. So I did the same thing I did to the king to the girl. Except in her wound. She went unconscious immediately.
