"So we were wondering." Bethany began after breakfast had finished. The two young girls had moved to sit side by side on the sofa, the book 'Novem Regna' open between them. The three adults stayed up the table, the wooden surface now covered with notes and documents.

"This book doesn't have an writing in except for the Chapter about Earth." Deanna continued. "Do you know why?"

"Oh, I thought all the pages had writing on." Jane frowned, moving away from the table and carefully taking the book away from the pair. "I wonder why that is." The brunette pondered for a moment before sitting down next to Bethany, still staring intently at the book.

Deanna turned away from the pair for a moment and spotted a small ball of light in the corner. Slowly it moved down the hallway and into the bathroom. The small blonde tugged at Bethany's dress, gaining her attention before pout towards the bathroom and mouthing 'light'.

"I'm sorry girls I don't know, but there's more Mythology books down the hall in my room. Second door on the right." Jane said sadly, handing the book back and walking back over to the table.

"Thank you!" Both girls chorused, making their way down the hall. However instead of taking the second door on the right they took the second door on the left, leading into the bathroom. Once inside Deanna closed the door while Bethany pulled down the blinds.

As the room became dark the pair sat in the floor and waited for the light to reappear. After a few moments the ball of light appeared, hovering over the bathtub. The girls sat silently and waited for the voice to speak. "The book doesn't have writing in does it?" The female voice asked.

"You knew that before you asked us to retrieve it." Bethany replied, placing the book on the floor. "It only has writing in the Chapter about Midgard."

"Indeed it does." The light replied. "That is because the Chapters will only appear when the book is on one of the nine realms."

"So we'd need to go to Asgard to get the Chapter about Asgard to appear?" Deanna asked, leaning forward and lying on her stomach with her chin resting on her right hand.

"That is correct." The light spoke.

"But we can't get to other realms." Bethany said, folding her arms and closing her eyes. "We don't even know enough about all the realms to even know how to act if we ever were to enter them realms, let alone what awaits us."

"I thought you knew a lot about the nine realms." The light interrupted.

"We know the basics, famous Gods and Goddesses." Deanna explained. "We know about a few wars too but we don't know as much as others."

"We can't do anything from here, we'll never know everything about our powers." Bethany sighed.

"Our curse you mean." The blonde grumbled.

"This is no curse!" The voice from the light suddenly snapped. "These powers have latched onto you for a reason, one that I do not know. Only few people know of the goals that the powers you posses had."

"That doesn't help us at all." Bethany replied.

"Look for the origin of Mjölnir, that will help you." The voice instructed before disappearing, leaving the two girls in complete darkness.

"Well that was helpful." Bethany muttered while Deanna rolled onto her back and stared up at the dark ceiling.

"Shall we see what books Jane has?" Deanna suggested.

"That would be our best start I guess."
