As he watched The Gateway spinning around him he allowed himself a smallsmile of triumph. Now that he had access to a body, it had taken no time at all to track down the required data within the Forefather database to repair the power generation capacity of the city and re-route the energy into The Gateway. His ability to assimilate knowledge and interface directly with complex systems was key to the rapid expansion of The Faceless.
Of course The Gateway itself was a loud and obvious piece of technology.He knew little of the planet to which he was heading - from the Forefather database, Saxosis was a mere glimmer in their eyes before they decimated themselves. But thanks to Master Kisa's memories and knowledge, The One was well aware of the bountiful biosphere that was awaiting him. It didn't matter that armed guards would be waiting for him, for they would become his first foot soldiers.
The black disk opened above him and The One was propelled into the vastness of space, hurtling towards the device below Utopia City. The Faceless were bound to their dead planet no more.
