"My oh my, you really are a bold one..."
"Eh?"
The singsong like voice continued, amusement dripping from every words yet with a small titbit of respect at the edges.
"Openly flirting with the Chief Justice himself in public...to start cozening yourself up with the Hydro archon herself merely a few hours after..?"
The sound of footsteps started to grow closer, especially with that clop like sound heels liked to do. The voice...was familiar, very much though indeed, but from where did it came..?

But.. among these perilous, drifting sensations that assailed her...something continued to cut through the fog.
Repeating itself, again..and again....
CRACK
Her whole body stiffened, cold sweat prickled at her eyes...
CRACK..
A meaty, loud thud that reverberated inside her skull, yet wanted to get out, one that brought with it the bitter sting of copper into her mouth and the thought of a ripe fruit shattering against the ground. But it was not a fruit...it could not be one..
