Eternal Entrapment

A/N: I'm sooooooooooooooo sorry I couldn't get this part up sooner. I've been out with my family and had NO WIFI for the past week so I haven't been able to update.

Please don't give up on me, my fabulous readers! ♥

"Call on Freckled Jesus, Shitty Glasses! What do you want?"

Hanji was panting for breath with an empty syringe in her hand. Noticing this, Levi raised a thin eyebrow in question.

"Blood... Sample," she said between gasps.

I rolled my eyes and gently pried Eren's arm away from his torso. He tried to jerk away when Hanji neared him and cried out painfully when her hand accidentally nudged his shoulder.

"What the fuck?" Levi growled angrily, batting Hanji's arm away. The skin on Eren's shoulder was red and raw, as though freshly burnt.

Lëvï's PÖV~

"You do it. I don't know what happened but it'd be best if we find out before I do it again." I nodded slowly, grasping the syringe in one hand, Eren's arm in the other.

"Apologies, brat," I whispered as I stuck the needle point into the soft skin. As I did, Eren's hand tightened suddenly around my tail.

I hadn't realised he was holding it.

I yelped loudly, jumping off the bed and stroking my tail. Next to me, Shitty Glasses was having a hard time containing herself. I shot her a death glare and she completely lost it.

"Ahaha! You're so adorable! The ears! The taillll!"

I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. Why me? I asked myself.

The needle was still stuck in his flesh and the sight was rather amusing; it danced in the air as he squirmed around and so blood began trickling quickly down his skin.

"Shit," I muttered, quickly extracting his blood into the glass container and removing the metal point. I thrust it back at Four-Eyes. "Here, take it and leave. Don't come back until you've found something that could help us." She nodded, biting her bottom lip before leaving the room quickly.

Sighing, I strutted over to the window and admired the bleak day at the other side of the glass panes. The sun quivered, low in the sky, softly and a gentle breeze rustled the grass and leaves slightly. A thin layer of fog, shrouded the ground and blurred my view of everything.

It was a rather fragile day, carefully constructed and breakable.

And of course it was soon shattered by hisses and whimpers of pain from behind me.

Groaning loudly, I spun around and strode quickly over the the bed. I threw the covers off Eren's body and onto the floor.

What?!

Hänjï's PÖV~

Nervously leaving the room, I swirled the dark red liquid around in it's container and nearly tripped on a loose stone, not watching where I was going.

Damnit, Hanji! Pull yourself together or he'll catch on and there'll be nothing left of ya!

My mind had a point. I'd been acting up all day and some cadets had already asked if I was okay. I knew for a fact that Levi wasn't stupid. AT ALL. And if my young cadets could figure me out then Levi certainly could.

I sighed and rubbed my temple softly, quietly entering my lab.

It was a mess. Oh well.

Now we had two problems to deal with, thanks to me.

The first: Levi's cat issue, that would be bad if he didn't return to normal.

And now, the second: Eren's... Well, whatever Eren's problem actually was.

I flopped down in a comfy-ish chair and emptied the blood into a small test tube.

After checking the DNA contained in the sample around one thousand times, doing weird little tests, calculating, adding odd chemicals, and more calculating, I finally came up with a conclusion.

Eren was trapped in his own mind.

By me.

Yay~!

In other words, Eren was caged inside his dreams and nightmares until we could find a cure. And it was not going to be a piece of cake.

Eren, for the time being, would be completely unresponsive to everyone's voice. However, judging from the event that occurred earlier, he reacts negatively to touch.

But what about Levi? I asked myself.

Oh. Right.

If Eren reacted badly to everyone's touch, that would include Levi... Right?

Maybe it's because he has the same serum in his system?!

Groaning loudly, I hit my head lightly on my wooden desk.
