I have a short-ish chapter for y'all today, sorry about that, but I've been busy writing a Halloween themed oneshot that turned out to be wasted time because Wattpad (for some reason) didn't save it.

Actually...

I think Wattpad hates me; it always does this kinda stuff to meh ;-;

Anyways, gomenasai that I don't have a longer chapter for you all, but go ahead and read this stuff XD

~~THIRD PERSON POV~~

There was an uncomfortable silence. Everyone knew that it was almost impossible for one to penetrate another's mind in the way they were implying, but they also knew that they had to try it out.

To save their comrade, to save Eren.

Speak of the devil; Eren began to groan and choke, startling (neko) Levi, Hanji and Erwin into action again. Levi was the one to gently shake the brunette as he continued to struggle, for the other two knew that they were unable to touch him without harming him.

"Hey! Eren, you with us?" Hanji called softly.

Eren nodded shakily and his eyes flew open. He shuffled awkwardly away from the three that crowded around the side of his bed and sported an almost pained expression. It seemed he was as confused - yet aware - of the situation as the rest of them were; what was wrong with him, and how half of it was happening (the wounds), however they had no idea what had caused the 'World of Dreams' or how to fix any of it.

Blinking rapidly and rubbing his eyes momentarily, Eren started to whimper as he recalled the sights of his dreams. "It... was awful. There was... nothing... no one... just pain and darkness..." His voice was hoarse and croaky. Hanji handed him glass of water, smiling brightly.

"First things first," she said, "you need to drink - I'd guessed you'd need to once you finally woke up. Secondly, is there anything that still hurts?"

After downing his drink in one go, Eren shook his head, and then winced, taking into account the question she had just asked.

"Actually, my head hurts a little. And my arm; it stings," he said, voice clearer this time.

Hanji nodded slowly, her smiley façade staying dutifully on her face. She was actually scared senseless and horrified that she could've done this to Eren; he was so nice to her and she had payed him back with this! "Right, that's not unexpected - you were unconscious for a while. Here," she handed him a cool, damp towel, "keep this on your head for a bit, and it should ease your headache."

Eren pressed the towel to his forehead gingerly and shot her a grateful smile. Hanji bit her lip nervously.

Just as Eren was about to open his mouth to speak, Erwin cleared his throat loudly, saving Hanji from a possible confrontation, and grasping the attention of Levi.

"Jaeger, I presume that you know somewhat about this... condition of yours?" Eren nodded. "Good. However, from what we all know, there is not yet, a possible solution to it so we must do what we can to investigate more." Eren nodded again. "In the meantime, Corporal Levi, I'm sure, will be happy to support you in recoveries from your injuries." (No, I'm not a bloody poet, baka ~.~) At the mention of his name, Levi's ears stood up suddenly, and Eren froze, fearing that the raven would be (for unknown reasons) angry.

The corners of Erwin's lips twitched upwards ever so slightly, but he regained himself quickly. "Right, Levi?"

"Mhm," Levi hummed in agreement, not averting his long-held stare from the brunette's face. "Right."

If you had been staring as intensely as Levi, maybe you could've detected the slight blush that blossomed of Eren's cheeks.
