AJ'S POV
A Couple Days Later...
I woke up to someone calling my name. It was faint, since I was still a little drowsy from the blood loss.
"Huh"I muttered.
"AJ wake up" it's important the mysterious voice said.
"Okay, okay, okay I'm up what is it"I said as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. When I opened my eyes I saw Destiny, Alex's mom.
"Um...there's something you need to know about Alex"I heard another voice say. I looked in the direction of the voice and saw Dr.Casey with her clipboard.
"Ummm...is everything okay with Alex?"I asked as I began to panic.
"Yes and no"Casey said nervously.
"AJ, it turns out that something has happened to Alex that will affect all of our lives"Destiny said with a sad visage.
I was speechless. I didn't know what to say or do. I wanted to cry, but didn't because she could be alright. I finally said "She's gonna make it right". Dr. Casey smiled.
"Yes AJ, she will live. But, she has what we call PTMS, which is short for post traumatic memory loss. She will have retrograde memory loss which may include things such as her loss of who she is, what her name is, who people are, or even where she lives"Casey said with a sad expression.
I couldn't believe this. This was unbelievable. "How the hell is this even possible?"I asked as I began to raise my voice. "She's a FUCKING VAMPIRE HOW CAN SHE HAVE SUCH A DISEASE?!?! SHE'S NOT A FUCKING HUMAN! WHERE DOES ALL THE MONEY GO WHEN WE PAY FOR OUR TECHNOLOGY TO BE MORE ADVANCED?!?"I said with rage. Casey looked terrified.
"AJ please calm down. Alexandra used to be dhampire remember. Meaning that one of her human relatives must've had this disease, and she was a carrier. She couldn't run away from it. Also I've seen something like this before. My grandmother had the same disease once. It can last from a few days, to weeks, or to a year. But look on the bright side, she won't have it for the rest of her life, unlike a human."Destiny said and Casey nodded.
"Ok, let's ignore the fact that she's an HVIC and is a valuable person who needs to be protected;since, the Peeps wants us dead"I said with frustration.
That's when Casey said "DESTINY AND AJ PLEASE STOP THE ARGUING!! ALEX IS ALIVE AND WILL GET BETTER EVENTUALLY. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND BE GTATEFUL THAT SHE DID SURVIVE THIS!!!"Casey yelled. I was taken aback by this.
"She's right"Destiny said. I nodded. "Alex is going to need us and we will need to be there for her"she finished.
"We'll need help though. I don't think she'll be able to recover as quick with just her family helping her"I said with a frown as I looked at Alex.
"HVIC AJ, most people if not everyone in the coven will help Alex retrieve her memories. They want her back as much as you do"Casey said with a smile.
"Okay...your right. Okay we can do this"I said as I held squeezed Alex's hand softly.
"Doctor how long do you think it'll take before Alex wakes up?"Destiny asked.
"Um...she's perfectly stable now. She's due to wake up at any moment"Casey said with a smile.
"That's wonderful, but AJ can you give me a call when she wakes up. I'm going to go tell the other the news, and then I have to go to work"she said.
I nodded. "Sure, she'll be happy to see you".
"Alright see you soon gun"Destiny said as she placed a small kiss on her daughters head. She waved goodbye and it was just me and Casey in the room.
"Well I have to go check on my other patients. I'll be back later today. Send Alex my regards okay AJ"Casey said as she checked Alex's one last time before she left the room. I nodded. "Okay then see you guys later then"Casey said.
"Casey wait"I said as I got up to hug her. At first she was a little hesitant, hit them she accepted my hug. "Thank you for everything"I said with a smile as I pulled away.
"No problem AJ"she said as she left the room and shut the door. Meanwhile I decided that I should change into some better clothes. I entered the bathroom and opened Alex's closet and picked out a red blouse with some black jeans, along with a black bra. I decided to play some music as I showered so I played "This is How We Do" by Katy Perry. I began to undress and I stepped into the shower and turned it to the appropriate temperature and began to lather my washcloth and wash my body. As I began to wash my neck the chorus played and I sang along.

I decided that I should wash my hair while I was in the shower, so I grabbed the shampoo and wet my hair and rubbed the shampoo in my scalp. Then all of a sudden "Marry You" by Bruno Mars came on. I chuckled, because Alex loved singing this song. I decided to sing along as I washed my hair.

And to my surprise I accidentally got shampoo in my eye. I began to quietly panic as it burned my left eye. I immediately stood under the shower forcing my eye to stay open so the water can flush the shampoo out. After about a minute my eye felt better, so I conditioned my hair and rinsed it. I finally decided to get out of the shower, and the chorus began to play. I hummed it as I was in the process of putting my towel on, hit before I can do it the door opened and I shrieked.
