UNDYING

Chapter 10

ALEX'S POV

[A/N- She's back bitches, and is a little lost as to who people are and why she is at the coven.]

The woman named AJ left, my hospital room and I followed her. But it was as if we were some kind of celebrities, and we had paparazzi as people were taking pictures of me and AJ. "Um...AJ what's going on?"I shouted over the loud chatter of the people taking pictures and asking questions.

"Nothing, don't worry about. Just follow me"she said as she began to weave through the crowd of paparazzi as if it were nothing. Unfortunately, for me it wasn't that easy as I soon found myself in a circle full of people snapping my picture and asking questions that I didn't know the answer to.

One guy asked "Alex, Alex, right here so do you know where the Peeps hideout is at?"

"I don't know what your talking about"I responded.

"Aye Alex, so you've been unconscious for about three weeks. Do you know what's going on so far in the coven"a woman asked and I shook my head.

"Alex do you have any current medical problems after your near fatal trauma"another man asked as he snapped a picture of me.

"What...no I'm not going to answer any of your questions. Just let me go back to AJ"I said as I tried to get past the paparazzi, but no one budged. I began to worry as this was not helping my current situation at all. That's when all of a sudden AJ appeared and pushed about three vampires to the side as she walked her way towards me.

"Come on Alex"AJ said as her eyes were red all of a sudden.

She grabbed my hand and I felt safe all of a sudden with her. "Was she mad at me? And why do I feel safe when I wasn't in any real danger?"I thought. As we sped away from the paparazzi we were in a big open space where there were hundreds of thousands of seats for people to sit in. "Wooooow"I exclaimed.

"Yea I know right"AJ said with a smirk. Her smirk was adorable and I liked it a lot. "This is the arena. We use this place for ceremonies, to fights, to initiating new vampires"she said the last part with a smile.

"What do you mean by initiating?"I asked. She giggled and I just looked at her. She was shorter than me by a couple inches which was adorable since she had so much power and knew how to use it .

"Well when you and your sister first came here,the both of you went through an initiation process which is when two of the HVIC's from a coven fight the opponents and whoever drops first wins, and that's the initiation process"she smiled. "That's one of the best thing about my job"she added.

I raised and eyebrow at this. "What fighting the new vampires?"I asked. She giggled again and it just made me smile.

"No silly. I like how at first the new vampires come and their not great at fighting. But after a few years of training they're brutal killing machines. It shows that I'm good at what I do, and that I can train a weak and vulnerable vampire to become a bad ass fighter"she said with that smirk of hers. "I don't know I mean, its interesting seeing that transition I guess"she finished.

I nodded and asked "So how was my initiation process?" A smile had spread wide across her face and she chuckled.

"Well miss Alexandra, you kicked my ass"she said as she began to walk around the arena. "It was unbelievable"she said as she reminisced in the memory I've forgotten.

"And why is that"I asked.

"Because never in my life has a newbie EVER beaten me. And that's nearly impossible. I mean newbies are weak"she said as she shrugged it off. For some reason I took offense to that.
