"Can we go out ?! Pleaseee " tanii asked me.

I laughed "yea let's go "

I took my keys and phone and hand bag and locked up the house and we went on our way.

"Woww it's really pretty out here man " tanii said as we walked in times square.

"I know right" I said smiling and looking around.

"I see why you came here " she said.

I looked at her " I guess... I just wanted to start over fresh.. When I got here I felt brand new " I said

She looked at me " you know trina... you have to come back to Cali " she said.

"I know I want to take the twins " I said

"Away from Alex ?" She said

" I mean not away from him..for some time I haven't seen them in 3 years and I feel bad there my kids I just left them " I said stopping and waiting for the cars to past.

"You should trin ... "

My head snapped in her direction.

"What ?"

"You should feel bad they came out of you and you were only there for 1 year of there life .. It sucks that you missed out on 3 precious years " she said.

I just looked at her and when the light turned red we crossed.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel bad but your one of my best friends almost like a sister and I had to keep it 1hunnid with you " she spoke again.

"No it's all good I rather have a real friend then 100 fake ones " I said.

She smiled. "You really need to come to Cali on new years man junior having his party and bihh it be poppin !" She said.

I laughed "all juniors party's be  popping "

"So you gonna come ?" She asked

"I might .. I kinda wanted to come here to watch the ball drop after the show " I said

"Trina Pleaseeeee " she said

"Yea yea ok " I said

"So your coming ?" She asked

"Ehhh... Why not ? yea" I said smiling.

"Yessss !!" She hugged me.

My phone started ringing.

"Hello " I answered it.

"Where y'all at ?" renae spoke

"Times Square" I said.

"Y'all gonna have to come get me then I'm done with practice " she said.

"Ight were coming text me the address. "

"Ok".

"Come on tanii " I said grabbing her hand and putting my arm up waving for a taxi.

We just got home. After we went and got her we went out to eat and now I'm about to go ooVoo the twins.

I was about to open my laptop when my mom called me.

"Hey mom " I said picking up.

"Hey hun, I guess you were about to call me I just wanted to say I don't have the twins tonight " she said.

"Ohh ok" I said disappointed.

"Yea Alex has them tonight "

"Ok well buy mom goodnight, love you" I said and hung up.

I'm happy when I moved to new York it made me feel brand new even though it's my birth place and also where my pops got killed. But now... I don't feel so brand new....
