3rd POV: Trunks couldn't believe what he's seeing, in front of him was someone that he never seen from his timeline and the current timeline. He sees many, many trees that lost their leaves that were on the ground, covering the dirt ground with red, orange and brown leaves.
The sky was very cloudy with the very cold wind flowing through the air. However, something feels different since it shows not only life, but sounds from a distance like cars or something.
Then, a hand grabs Trunks by the shoulder, causing Trunks to quickly grab a hidden ice dagger from his pocket and about to stab. Vegeta quickly grabs his wrist to stop him, "Boy! What the hell are you thinking?! Exploring something that could get you lost or hurt!"
"Trunks! Vegeta!" The rest reached up to them, relief to see them with no injuries. "Thank goodness that you both are alright, but seriously, you could have waited for us." Yamcha said.
Vegeta scoffs and turns around, "I have to make sure my son doesn't get himself killed or else Earth-" "Uhh, Vegeta." "What?!" Tien points behind and turns around, not seeing Trunks standing.

Trunks walks through the forest, hearing nothing, but the leaves crunching under his feet, crows chirping and the branches moving through the wind. He looks around as he takes in the new world until he notices something on the tree.
He stops, looking around to feel if someone will appear to attack him before walking slowly towards the tree. Trunks could feel his heartbeat in his ears and his heavy breathing.
The more he got close to the tree, the more it could make out that there's a piece of paper stuck into the tree. Once he got closer, he finally saw the paper to see that it was a missing person, but was shocked to see who the person was.

It was about his mother, [Y/N] and it states that she went missing for 2 weeks, which confused Trunks. '2 weeks? Mom's been with us for years now. How is that this paper said that she went missing 2 weeks ago?'
Trunks rips the paper off the tree and just looks at it, staring at the picture of his very young mother. He just stares, not noticing Vegeta walking over to him and bonking him on the head.
