I couldn't see because of the smoke from the fire, but something was falling and I felt stuck clint then ran at me from the side and yelled "KATE WATCH OUT" He then jumped on me so we flew out of the way and I fell on my back and as I was trying to sit up I saw a part of a house was the thing that about hit me "Kate? You okay?" clint said looking at me worried, I was stunned for a moment "yeah I'm okay my back hurts Tho" he got up and held his hand for me to take so I could get up. Sue ran out and yelled at us "YOU TWO BETTER BE OKAY"

She stopped and was some steps away from us when she said "omg no way is that blue goo?" clint and I went over to her side and saw the goo on the ground "what even is that" I said with a confused voice. Clint went to his car and opened the trunk of the car and took gloves on. He then took out a glass bottle and something that clicked on the bottle "and is that?" I asked curiously while he was walking back to us "it's a sample bottle and the top thing is a suction device" he said while going down on squat to use the bottle for the goo "what could it be?" Sue asked while clint was walking back to the car "I really don't know, maybe I will take it to banner to make a dialysis of it to find out what kingpin is up to" both me and Sue looked at each other "wait banner as in Bruce banner as in the Hulk??!" I asked existed "yeah but don't get your hopes because I don't know if there is time for it or if he has time"

We called the fire department to take out the fire and inside the bottom floor we saw some kind of lab with all kinds of fluids in small bottles we took some pictures of them and then the cops came, and we had to leave but we got a lot of information from the pictures, and also a picture of a kid. The picture was burned around the sides with a text on the back in the middle "yours forever Derek" and I couldn't stop thinking about the dad I had in this life, I only know he was working for kingpin. What if there was more to it? Or am I overthinking this. The car drive back was silent, and I fell asleep I thought we were going back to New York but when Sue woke me up, we were back at the bartons house. "Rise and shine cupcake" that was the first thing I heard and when I opened my eyes, I saw Sue smiling big she helped me get out of the car since my back is still hurt from earlier. "Thank you su-" I saw Nathaniel behind her "thank you Hannah" I smiled nervously at her and Nathaniel she whispered in my ear "well played"

Nathaniel looked at me sad, so I went down on my knees slowly to be on the same height level as him "hey buddy, are you okay?" he looked at me for a moment and hugged me tightly. I could see Clint and Laura from window smiling at us, so I smiled back "I'm okay uncle Kate. But are you okay? You look hurt" I pulled him away so he could see my face, I smiled big and said "don't you worry buddy uncle Kate is strong and that's only because of the love you give me" his cute little smile came back big as ever and we hugged again "should we go inside my little healer?" I asked him and he nodded "Hannah can you help her? I'm not big enough" we both giggled "of course I will help her" she helped me get up and Nathaniel wanted us to be on each side of him so he could hold us in both hands. And I could just see the joy and love on Sue face, especially on her eyes and smile. 

as we came inside I heard Laura "hey dear, do you want me to look at your back? Maybe I have some kind of belt for your back" I smiled and said "I would actually love that, but it can wait if you're busy with the food, I can hold on" Clint then came down the stairs with something in his hand "I'm 10 steps ahead of you babe, I was thinking about where I last saw it and It was in the closet" he said with a smile but when his glaze turned to me he had a sad kind of smile "if you need help with it me or Laura can help okay?" he handed me the belt and I gave him a tight hug despise the pain on my back "thank you Clint" Sue then came back from the living room "if it is I can help you now, so it isn't a thing to later?" I smiled at her and said "sure" I gave her it and turned my back in front of her and they all giggled "you don't know the belt work, do you" Laura said while cutting some lettuce on a cutting board "I felt awkward "noOoOoo" I said nervously

"Come on let's go upstairs so I can put on you" she said while taking my hand. We went into her room this time and I could just see that the room was hers from all the aesthetic on her walls and decks "welcome to my room Emily" she giggled "sit on the bed and take your shirt off because that's how you take it on" she smiled and said while I sat on her bed looking around, she was at her deck looking inside a drawer, when she turned around to walk over to me she had a lotion bottle in her hand "I used to use this on my bruises I feel like it helps a bit with the healing and pain" she sat behind me and rubbed the lotion into my back and goddamn it felt nice.

"All done. If it loses its grip just tell me and I will help" she said and kissed my shoulder. We heard a knock on door and Laura popped her head in "heyy you guys hungry? Dinner is ready" "yes coming down soon" we both said at the same time and it made the three of us laugh "alright but don't take too long or the food will get cold" she said and closed the door while smiling
