Chapter 1: Backstory

My name is Aphrodite Moon De Luca wierd name right. Anyways I'm 14 almost 15 and I'm a werewolf. I am or shall i say was beta female to my pack until i got downgraded. I would say im an omega but even they get treated better than me. There is not really a name for me slave, punching bag, maybe I dont know. Usually we find our mates at 16 but if your mate is 16 or older you can tell sooner. Waiting for my mate is what is keeping me alive and keeping me in this hellhole.
Allow me to explain up until the age of six I was loved by everyone in my pack according to them I was there little ray of sunshine I was adored. Annie the alphas daughter was my best friend we were like sisters. On my sixth birthday my mom, Annie , and the Luna decided to take me out for a surprise I had always loved a field out in the woods it opened to a clearing with a small cliff over looking the lake its absolutely breathtaking. Continuing my story we were having a picnic, enjoying the time together when a group of rogues attack, my mother and Luna jumped in front of us ready to attack. When the rogues moved forward my mom and the Luna attack I grabbed Annie and pulled her behind a rock. We watched as they attacked our mothers I watched as one grabbed my mother her eyes searching for me once they locked on mine she mouthed I love you and right before my eyes i watched as they murdered her. I tried to scream but it was lodged in my throat. I was so focused on my mom and didn't see Annie run to her mom and I didn't see my dad either. It happened so fast I ran to my mom holding her crying. I hear a whimper and look to seem my dad slump to the ground.
"Daddy" I screamed bringing the rogues focus to me a crawl back to get away and bump into something looking back I see Annie laying there bleeding and I can't stop the scream this time not caring about the rogues a cradle Annie in my little arms begging her to stay focused on me. I didn't know the pack had showed until they tried pulling me from Annie. They tried asking what happened and when i couldn't answer I got hit for the first time in my life. Since that day I was beaten, bullied, you name it they done it. I was blamed for the death of my father, my mother, and our Luna. I was banned from seeing Annie she survived but was in a coma with no telling when she would wake. The only person who was nice to me was the alpha he blamed me at first but it changed soon after. He tried to help he still does but he gave up when that made it worse. I was there own personal slave and this is my own personal hell. I went to school even though I got bullied there also but I didn't care. One day I'd meet my mate and he'd save me from this hell or so I thought.
