Chapter 4: Aphrodite

Aaron's P.O.V

This is my end. I'm coming home mommy and daddy. I'm sorry I couldn't be a better sister Aaron. I'm sorry they died and I survived. I love you bubby. I wake up with a start I swear that voice sounded just like Aphrodite. Must be from the drinking and partying last night, its was just a dream, shaking my head to clear it i get up and get dressed before heading downstairs. When I get to the kitchen I see no breakfast which pisses me off. Aphrodite knows its her job to cook. I figure I better wake her before the rest of the pack gets here. I go to the basement door and knock.
"Lazy ass get the fuck up, your late on cooking and im fucking hungry" I yell before knocking again. When I still don't get an answer I open the door and walk down the stairs. As soon as I reach the bottom of the steps I don't see her anywhere. Smelling the air it smells like she hasn't been here for awhile. I look around the room to see if anything is out of place thinking maybe she ran away or something but nothing is out of the ordinary. The words from this morning come back but I push them aside just as quickly as they appear, it was just a dream I say to myself.
"Where the fuck is the food?" I hear Damien upstairs.
"Get your lazy ass up here and cook" Zach says. I make my way back upstairs to a room full of angry pack members.
"Where the fuck is your stupid ass sister, we're fucking hungry" Damien ask.
"Hell if I know she isn't in her room" I say with a shrug although I'm worried I won't show it. I watch as an unreadable expression forms on his face but its gone as quickly as it came.
"Try mindlinking her" one of the pack members suggest.
"Where the fuck are you" I ask through the mindlinking but its like I've hit a wall.
"She's blocking me out or something its like I keep hitting a wall" I tell them as I keep trying. Jackson my wolf is pacing in my head which is making me nervous.
" What is it" I ask him
"Somethings wrong her wolf isn't responding" he says leaving me confused.
"Of course not she doesn't have a wolf yet" I state.
"Yes she does idiot her wolf's name is Star. How did you think she was able to heal after all those beatings?" I ask.
"How?" I ask wanting to know how my sister has a wolf and I didn't know.
"Star had her hide her scent she's special" he says before going to the back of my mind officially cutting me off.
"Jackson says she has her wolf but her wolf had her hide her scent. Her wolf isn't responding to him either" I say to the pack.
"How the fuck did we not know she had her wolf" Damien ask angrily.
"I don't know he cut me off our link before I could ask him more" I say. He goes to say something else when Melissa and her slut pack come waltzing into the kitchen. Oblivious to the situation as she saunters up to Damien.
"I see the little whore didn't come back last night" she says when she see's us all standing around.
"What" I ask confused.
"You heard me, Aphrodite thought Damien was her mate so we took her to the lake and taught her a lesson" she as if it was nothing but when I hear her say lake I'm instantly on alert.
"What did you do" I ask angrily.
"Taught her a lesson, why do you care" she says angrily. I rush her grabbing her by the throat and slamming her into the wall.
"What the fuck bro" Zach says but I ignore him and focus on Melissa.
"What did you do" I ask letting my beta tone through.
"Me, Damien, and Zach thought it would be funny to mess with her so Damien had her meet him by the lake. We said somethings, hit her, then threw her in the lake" she rushes out and I feel the blood drain from my face at the end of her sentence.
"Dude let her go" Damien says and I realize she is turning blue so I let go and turn to him.
"Did you throw her in the lake" I ask through clenched teeth.
"Yeah so what its not like you haven't done worse" he says nonchalantly. I take off out of there like a bat out of hell. Not giving a shit about there yelling. Coming to a stop at the lake I look around for any sign of her, not seeing a thing I try sniffing for her catching the smell of blood I follow it only to find a pile of blood near the lake but no body.
"Aphrodite" I scream scared to death. I know I wasn't a good brother but she is still my sister and I do love her.
"What the fuck is wrong with you" Damien ask coming behind me.
"She can't swim you fucking idiot and judging from the blood even if she could you beat her so fucking bad I doubt she could even if she tried" I say trying not to cry. I watch as his eyes widen and began to water but I could careless its his fucking fault.
"I want all the pack looking for Aphrodite, she was last seen in the lake. If you find anything report to me immediately" Damien sends through the pack mindlink. Hours of searching and nobody finds anything and I just know she is dead. The only family I had left is gone and I treated her like shit. Remembering the words from last and I realize it was a dream it was her saying goodbye. I can't stop the sob I unleash as I drop to the grownd with tears falling down my face.
"It'll be okay, we'll find her." Zach says coming up to me.
"No it wont, she is dead, you all killed her. She isnt going to be found because she is dead. I could have done something, she was telling me goodbye and i blew off as imagining things. Fuck you, you, Damien, and the fucking whore killed my baby sister. I'll do my duty as beta but your all fucking dead to me" I spit out angrily before shifting and taking off releasing a pain filled howl mourning the loss of my sister.
