Chapter 9: Rules

Ro's P.O.V
    I follow Xavier into his office, ignoring the stare's and whispers from the new unwelcomed pack as Marie leads them to there room. As soon as we step in and the door shuts he starts in on me.

"Is this going to be reoccurring event because if it is I need to know now" he says as though its a question but its more of a demand.

"It was Lola she came before I even realized it" I say."Way to throw me under the bus" Lola mutters.

"I understand your anger believe me I do. I found you, I seen with my own eyes what you went through so I get where you are coming from. Personally I wouldn't care if you beat them all to a bloody pulp but the council won't allow it" he says taking a seat as he releases a sigh.

"As the Third in Command and pack trainer you are to attend the bonfire tonight. Can you do that without incident?" he asks and not wanting to stress him further I agree almost immediately. I may not like it but there isn't a thing I can do about it.

"You have my word I will not harm anyone from there pack" I say as truthful as I can because I know if provoked problems will arise.

"Thank you, you can go I know you need to work off some stress" he says and waves off and I head straight to the gym.

Damien's P.O.V

After being shown our rooms the girl who we've come to know as Marie offers to show as around. I hardly listen as she directs and points out things, I can't help but think about Aphrodite and how much she has changed. I still don't understand how she is apart of this pack when this pack consist of all hybrids. That and how quick she rushed to Michelle and how strong she was, it me and my wolf proud. As we continue to follow her we pass a room with double doors, there closed but you can hear music blaring through the doors.

"What room is this?" Aaron ask before I get the chance and we watch as Marie becomes fidgety as if she is afraid to answer.

"Oh..um... that's the gym" she says hesitantly.

"Can we see?" I ask curious at her behavior.

"I'll have to bring you guys back its occupied now" she says getting ready to turn but I stop her.

"Why not now? I mean we're right here" I say.

"Ro isn't to be disturbed when she is in there" she says lowly and if it weren't for werewolf hearing we wouldn't have heard her over the sound of the music.

"Ro as in Aphrodite?" Aaron asks.

"Yes but I wouldn't call her that she hates the name, she prefers Ro" she says and motions for us to follow and leads us to the backyard.

"I would suggest you go get ready, the bonfire starts in an hour, and Alpha Xavier wants everyone to be there so that they can get to know each other" she says and walks off. This could be the opportunity for me to talk to my mate I think to myself as I make my way to my room.

Ro's P.O.V

After I finish in the gym I go to my room to get ready for the bonfire Xavier has planned.

"More like get to know each other gathering" Lola says sarcastically. Ignoring I jump in the shower to get rid of the sweaty smell I have. I grab some black straight legs, a white shirt with This Bitch Slays written on the front. I fix my hair into a dutch braid and put on a little make-up. I slip a few knives into my specially made straps and grab my favorite pistol and slip it into the back of my pants. Slipping on my black combat boots, I grab my leather jacket before making my way out of my bedroom, making sure to close and lock the door. I listen to the sounds and find almost everyone in the backyard. As soon as I step out Javi and Emily spot.

"You could have at least tried to dress up" Emily says giving me a hug.

" I am" I say as I look down at myself.

"Babe you're wearing the same thing you where every day" Javi says and we both ignore the low growl that comes from across the yard.

"Oh well I don't need to impress anyone anyways" I say with a shrug before looping my arms through there's and pulling them towards the packs.

"Late as always" Xavier says as he spots and I just stick my tongue out.

"As I was saying on top of us housing you we will also be training you..." he says but gets cut off by Damien.

"Who will be training us?" he asks and I feel a smirk appear on my lips as I step away from Emily and Javi and bring my arms across my chest.

"That dear Alpha would be me" I say and watch as the mens eyes widen.

"You can't be serious" Michelle sneers out. Clearly this bitch learned nothing early but before I can say anything Xavier beats me to it.

"Well I am, she is the top warrior of all packs, when a pack needs training she is sent, when the council needs help they call on her, when the Alpha King needs protecting she is who is called. So if anyone is qualified for this it is her" he says proudly and I cant help but smile before my expression goes blank and I take in there stunned faces.

"Now as I was saying before I was interrupted I have rules, if you don't follow my rules there are consequences. Rule 1: Training starts at 5A.M not 5:05 or 6, 5A.M. I don't care if your a second late there will be a consequence. Rule 2: What I say goes if you fail to listen there will be a consequence. Rule 3: You are to be dressed appropriately for training if you fail to do so there will be double the consequence, for breaking the rule and thus breaking rule 1 for being late. Rule 4: Break my rules and face the consequences" I say and watch as one of girls from my old pack raise there hands and I nod for her to go.

"Not that I plan to break your rules but what are the consequence's?" she asks just as my ears perk up to the sound of paws touching the ground, I smell the air and am hit with a rancid smell which can only mean one thing. Rogues. A smirk appears on my lips. Perfect! I think to myself as I let one of the blades to slide into my hand. I wait until the rogue is where I want him before raising my arm my arm and releasing the blade. I watch as it hurts my target right in the head. It happens so quick that neither pack realizes what happened until the rogue lets out a pain howl causing there head to snap in there direction.

"You fight me" I say as I sprint towards the now slumped wolf . Stopping I pull the blade out and sigh sadly.

"I just polished these babies and its already dirty" I mutter to myself as pull my gun out from my pants. I check to make sure I have a silver bullet in the chamber before looking to the sky.

"Forgive his sins and allow death to welcome him for the grievances he has caused" me and Nevaeh my angel says before I take aim and pull the trigger. I release the breathe I was holding and its only then that I hear more paws hitting the ground and by the sounds of it there are at least 5 of them.

"Five rogues, I'm going" I mindlink Xavier as I strip off my jacket.

"Need me to send someone with you?" he asks.

"I got it I need it anyways" I say before sprinting off into the wolves ignoring the people behind me.
