"Ugh," grunted Wynette. "I'm so stupid. I'm such an idiot. I should've known I'd get suspended for stealing a teacher's truck and pickpocketing other students. Why was I such an idiot?"
Wynette is starting to realize the errors of her ways. At least, she didn't have to hear forgiveness from a priest like her granddad. Compared to her granddaddy, her father is an angel.

"I told you she'd come around," she could hear her mother tell her father downstairs.
"Whatever you say dear," he said with a hiss and a snap.
"Come around about what?" Wynette said to herself. "Please tell me they're not thinking about sending me to "the dormitory"." "I can't go to juvi. I'm too good for that!"
Now Wynette is just scared. She solemnly swears she'll stop streaking, hijacking, and pickpocketing and cutting old boyfriends up with knives. Yes, she's done that too. She actually got sent to jail for that one. She's dreading for the worst.
