Nikola had to wait a few extra weeks, since Mr.Wastener was now every other week. But it finally started to rain, only a trickle. It would last half the day, enough to ride down to the coast and see Mrs.Guillman.

The ride seemed extremely long, Aunt Jaime and Kirsten driving them there. "A few more minutes.." Aunt Jaime had muttered, turning a corner. They headed into a small neighborhood of townhouses. They were different colors, some blue and others bright red, with black and green roofs. There was a lady sitting on her front porch. Informed by Aunt Jaime that she was Mrs.Guillman, they hopped out of the car, minds buzzing with questions they wanted answers to.

Mrs.Guillman was a nice help, offering some lemonade as they sat on the porch chairs. It was a very old-fashioned house, and Aunt Jaime commented on it.
But after an hour, they had everything she could give them. They were told of a man named Gove, they just had to find him.

After the long drive home, Nikola sat on the couch, calling Leo.
After the long drive home, she received some horrid news.

Nikola was chatting with Leo, telling him to get his butt over there.
She was on the verge of tears.

Teddy had been murdered, and her first guess was Oliver. That twit was killing everyone around her. She sat feeling helpless, as Nikola convinced Leo to coke over. Nikola then sat next to her on the arm of the couch. She rubbed her shoulders, telling her it was okay.
She was almost going through what Nikola did with Scarlett.

There was no body, as usual. But there was blood, and a small cupcake with orange icing.
Orange was his favorite color...

Leo had finally made his way over, his sweatpants almost to the floor.
He seemed tired, but everyone was at this point.
Nikola, finding Scarlett again.
And she was dealing with Teddys death.

He sat on the couch, arm on the back.
The drizzle ran out, and she was gone again. Not really though, the shimmer flowed smoothly to the office, where she was sure to be looking up myths.

Nikola scribbled a sketch of her, sitting on the couch. How she wished they both could just be a picture, sitting on the wall or a desk. Immortalized, where nothing can go wrong. A single moment, captured and frozen. A safe haven.

Leo had fallen asleep, laying his head on Nikolas shoulder. She sighed, knowing any attempt to wake him would fail. One day she would tell him about her being a nymph. One day she would tell him about her, how she disappears. No one seems to notice but her sometimes. But Aunt Jaime was in her bedroom, reading an ancient book of some sort.

Her sketch was perfect, and she decided that one day it would be framed. Then she lost herself in the world of thought. The future. Of adventures, or children. Scarlett hugging her neices and nephews, spinning around with them like a cheesy tv show. Leo, coming over after working at what he did best. Business, and a bit of sports on the side. He would bend down, and be the cheesy tv show 'dad'; hugging them as well.
Its an amazing world to get lost in, and Nikola fell asleep peacefully on Leos shoulder, smiling.

She was shaken from her dreamy land when a large noise was heard outside. It was chanting Nikolas name, lulling her. The marking on her back started to burn again. Her eyes grew gray, her movements became light and flowery.

She was taken aback, walking outside after she heard the same noise. There was Nikola, shuffling towards it.
"NIKOLA!" She screamed, trying to snap her out of the trance.

Nikola shook her head, quickly turning around to see her scrambling to get to her. "What, my love?"
"Where are you going...?"
"To find Scarlett, dear."
"No no, but I love you, and I'm here."
"I love you too, Celeste."

With the last echoey voice heard, the buzzing portal swallowed her. It was cloudy, and a lightning bolt struck out of it. It then blinked out of existence, trapping them apart.

She broke down into tears, screaming. Neighbors drew the blinds, but she didn't care. Nikola was gone.

"I love you.." she whispered into the night, as Leo woke up and asked frantically where Nikola was.
"She's gone... She's all gone..." She had muttered, laying down ont he grass and facing the sky. Burying her face in her hands, everything was wrong.

"You never even said goodbye..."
The echoey, silky and beautiful voice, much different from the husky voice Nikola usually had, replayed in her mind.
She was still sat on the grass, crying and whimpering.

"Goodbye, Celeste." The wind blew, as Leo held her in his arms, trying to calm her.

Goodbye, Celeste..
