It was now the weekend, Y/n was glad there was o classes, she needed to shake off the hangover without hearing professors lecture her, or dealing with Pansy giving her dirty looks or her petty remarks. Y/n walked into the Great Hall, her head was pounding and her stomach felt like it wa about to fall out of her throat. She sat down at the Slytherin table this time since it was almost empty, usually on the weekends they go home doing their rich family activities, she wondered if Draco went home but he never goes home, she could tell he dreaded going home whenever he had to. Y/n poured a cup of coffee, black with sugar, she needed the caffeine to get rid of the headache, she sat there holding her head up with his fist as she sipped it
"Partied to hard Y/n?" Blaise said as he sat down next to her, he never talked to her? Why now?
"Oh, yeah..." She giggled anxiously "I saw you run out last night and Draco came after you, why?" She widened her eyes and almost choked on her coffee "Uh.."
"He probably wanted to get front row seats to watch you puke your brains out. He has something out for you I swear, he's always talking about you and how much of a pest you are. He always says "Did you see what she did?" or "She really gets to me" That boy really cant spend a day without saying something about you. Thats why I came to talk to you, I needed to see if you really are such a pest as he says" He sipped his tea "Oh, thats great to hear Blaise, thank you for that information" She said sarcastically "Don't take it to heart, Draco is just troubled, he never had the right path in life, he really isn't as evil as he seems. I know deep down he could possibly like your company, as much as he says he despises you. But you don't have to worry about him this weekend, he went home so you wont have to deal with his bullshit" She looked down and a small smile appeared on her lips "Thats hard to believe but thanks, I think he just needs a big smack across his smug face, that will cure him" They both laughed "Oh, I have been thinking that for years" He said. Blaise looked at her with a smile "Yeah, I don't think you are a pest at all, I think the others were just dramatic" Y/n looked over at him "Well, you are the only other Slytherin who doesn't see me as a disease" He nodded "Are you busy today?" He asked "I don't think so, I might have to see with my friends" He nodded "If you aren't I was wondering if you would like to grab butter beer later this evening?" He smiled, she didn't know how to respond, she thought he was nice and she had never really talked to him, but he would always look at her in class "If I'm free I'd love to" She gave a smile and he nodded "Brilliant" He stood up and walked away. Y/n thought that was strange, she never had been asked by another member of their house, they all hated her for her non pure blood.
Draco:
He sat at the large table in the dining room, he dreaded this place, always festering with death eaters and evil. "Dear, your breakfast is going cold" His mother said as she sat down with her tea, he looked down at his plate "I have no appetite" He said coldly "You must, it was a long ride home" He took a deep breath as he tapped his hand on the table, hesitant to talk "Mother?" He asked "Hm?" She sipped her tea "Why did father want me to come home this weekend? I got the letter to be here but he never said why?" He looked up at her and she sighed "He wanted you to be home, incase he ad anything to talk about" Draco clenched his jaw "You mean about the mud blood girl in Slytherin" His mother nodded and he shook his head "I have nothing to say about her, she is a pest and I don't associate with her. I know its forbidden so why would I speak to her?" She nodded and gave a soft smile "Draco, I want you to know that I have different feelings then your father, I have different beliefs then the rest and I know deep down you are the same way as I" He looked down "I am not your father...I know you Draco. I know everything" He looked back up at her "You know nothing, I hate that mud blood, same as I hate them all" He stood up and went to his room. He slammed his door and sat on his bed, running his hand through his hair, messing it up. He moaned in anger, he hated coming home, he always felt so angry at home, worse then at school, at least there he was free to do as he please but at home he was made to perform like a robot for his father, going with him to do missions, hear how the death eaters talk about muggles and mud bloods, sometimes during those talks he would drown out the awful things they would say about mud bloods, it made him see her, see Y/n and he already thought of her enough. Draco rubbed his lips to the thought of her, remembering how his lips felt on her soft neck, how they felt against her lips. Draco never craved anything more then her, he hated himself for it, it was forbidden he told himself over and over. He wished his hatred for her was Imbedded in his thoughts, he wished he despised her more then he said, maybe then he could fight the urge to kiss her, fight the urge to even look in her direction without his heart pounding out of his chest but she made it impossible. He sat there for what felt like minutes but i thad been hours, fighting the battle in his mind about her, wanting to just forget about her, go back in time and say no to Professor Mcgonagall about dancing with her, he even wished he didn't open that stupid closet on her first day. She really was becoming his downfall, more then the stupid mark on his arm, that was the least of his worries now.
Y/n:
She sat in the courtyard with Hermione, Ron, and Harry as they all talked and studied "Last night was pretty awesome, how did you enjoy your first party Y/n?" Hermione said "It was fine" She didn't look up from her book "I mean you disappear for awhile, did you fire whiskey really mess you up?" Ron said "Yeah, never drinking that stuff again" She giggled as she looked away from her book, dissociating as she stared at the brick wall. She wondered why he decided to go home for once, he never did, maybe that letter was from his parents to send him home for something, hopefully it wasn't a death eater thing. Y/n liked the courtyard, it was peaceful and it had a large tree in the middle of it with cement benches around it. "So, Y/n did you find a date for the ball?" Hermione asked, snapping her out of her thoughts, she knew she was partnered with Draco but she couldn't say him "No, I don't" She sighed "Someone will ask, you also need to try and make yourself presentable, always being miserable wont get you a date" Hermione nudged her arm and Y/n smiled with a nod, she did want to go with Draco but she knew he wasn't going but what if he did go? he already said he was her partner, yet again he said that so Pansy wouldn't ask again, so was he really going to the ball with her?
