Draco walked into the common room and helped her down on the sofa, her head rested on the arm rest, he sat on the coffee table "Why are you helping me?" she looked over at him "Because, as much as I despise you Im not a total asshole mud blood" she rolled her eyes and sat up "Carful" Draco said as she sat in front of him "Now, what did you see?" he clasped his hands together and rested his elbows on his knees, leaning forward. She looked down and tried to remember everything but the pain was so unbearable it was all a blur "I don't really remember but it was black and large, almost like a shadow of some kind" she said as she put her hand on her head "Does it still hurt?" he asked and she looked up at him, nodding slightly. Draco pulled out his wand "Stay still mud blood" he flicked his wand and a blue light slithered out out it and circled her head, it glowed and shined, she looked up with her eyes and Draco looked at her, her eyes slowly lowered to his and the blue light made their eyes glow "Feeling better?" he asked and she nodded, the blue light vanished into thin air and he put his wand next to him on the table "Draco?" he raised his eyebrow "Hm?" she took a deep breath "never mind" she shook her head and looked down, his finger lifted her chin and they looked at each other "Whatever you saw in the forest wont hurt you again" he removed his finger from her chin and he stood up "How do you know that?" he stopped and turned around "Do you know what it was?" she stood up, just barley being able to do so "No" he looked down "Draco, what was that thing? it spoke to me, its voice was a mans voice, deep and eery. It was no creature or shadow" he clenched his jaw "You were just seeing things mud blood, you probably hit your head like before, running like an idiot" she narrowed her eyes and tried to think, what did he mean like before? then it clicked. She remembered when she first came to Hogwarts and ran into the forest from class, when she fell and hit her head, waking up to someone carrying her, it was him. Y/n chose not to say anything because he clearly slipped up. "Don't go babbling your lips off to people about it either, you don't want to see any more crazy then you are" he scoffed "Why are you being like that? one minute your helping me, healing the pain in my head now you are saying these things?" she stepped closer to him "Because, its who I am mud blood, just like you are who you are. It's in our blood, as much as we try to fight it to show any sort of remorse, we will just go back to hating each other" Draco said as he rubbed his jaw "Of course you would say that, always being so just..." Draco stepped closer "Being so what? finish your sentence" she breathed heavy as she looked down at his chest, something started to come over her, the feeling of wanting to latch herself onto him and let him have his way with her but she forced herself to step back but he stepped closer again "Why are you so nervous? its pathetic you cant even finish your insult without becoming a complete mess" he tilted his head and smirked "Because, its impossible to get any words out when you give me that look!" she shouted at him and he widened his eyes "I didn't know your pretty lungs could produce such a tone..." she shook her head "Don't do that, don't say that! just ugh!" she huffed before storming past him, he just watched her leave with a smirk on his lips.

Draco:

He waited until nightfall to return home. He walked in the front door, a house elf was cleaning the floor, at this time of night "Away with you" Draco commanded and the elf stood up before bowing, apparating out of the room, he hated when his father made the elves slave away at night. He almost felt empathy for the creatures. Draco stepped into the living room and saw his mother on the sofa and his father sitting in the chair, reading the daily profit. His mother looked up and closed her book and walked up to him, kissing his cheek "Lucius, Draco is home" his father folded the newspaper to look at him "What sends you home?" his fathers voice send shives into him "There was an incident this evening at school...something was in the forest that shouldn't have been" Draco said and his mother sighed as she sat back down, his father just laughed to himself "It was you wasn't it?" Draco asked and his father stood up, walking up to him "Perhaps it was, I do not like how things are being stalled over there son, you know what Im saying?" Draco lowered his gaze "I understand father" Lucius put his hand on Draco's shoulder "He is losing his patience. I had to do something to make us look like we aren't fools to the dark lord...you know what happens when we are seen as fools by him? you remember what happened when we couldn't finish the job?" Draco looked back up at him and clenched his jaw, remembering the feeling of the torture he experienced from the curcio curse, a reminder that Draco almost risked everything because he was to weak. "You shall return to school" Draco nodded and left.

Y/n:

She sat at the table in the common room, studying even though it was impossible to focus, the conversation her and Draco had wouldn't leave her mind, he knew something, something she didn't. Then her mind roamed to the black shadow she saw, she flinched to the reminder of the pain she endured. Y/n rested her head on her hand as she read, her mind was a racing, then she thought of Draco, she pictured his eyes and they way they softened as he gazed at her, no matter how much of a ass he was, his eyes always managed to be soft. Then she remembered his hands, the way they felt on her bare skin, his lips, how soft and warm they were on hers, then she started to think of that night in his dorm. Her head rested deeper in her hand as she thought about it, the way he felt, how gently he was with her, like all of the hatred had exited his soul, he worshipped her body, took care of it, she wished she had savoured that moment longer. Y/n's eyes started to flutter closed, she had lost track of time daydreaming and studying. "Weakling" she looked up and froze, a large black shadow was in the corner of the room, she started to breath heavy, she couldn't move, she was stuck. It started to move closer and a cloaked figure emerged from the shadow, its face glistened with silver, she could barley make it out then a large green light blurred her vision. Y/n gasped and lifted her head off the table, it was a dream? that green light, it was the same one she saw that killed her parents, so it wasn't a dementor, it was a masked cloaked man. "Bad dream?" she shot her head over and saw Draco standing by the door, she stood up and started to gather her things but he walked over to the table, putting his hand on hers, stopping her movement "What are you doing?" she asked and he took a deep breath "Professor McGonagall told me that I should be practicing for the ball..." he took the book out of her hand and put it on the table, he pulled her away from the table "You must be crazy to think I will do this right now" he smirked "Just put your hand on my shoulder, she obeyed, Draco put his hand on her waist and pulled her close to him "Can you stop being such a pain" he said as he looked down at her "I wonder why" she rolled her eyes and he shook his head, he lifted her hand with his and their hands clasped within each other and she took a deep breath as she felt his skin against hers "There is no music" she said quietly "I don't need any, it will distract me" he dipped her back, making her gasp as she clutched the back of his neck "Will you stay silent so I can focus mud blood?" she just nodded and he lifted her back up, spinning her around until her back was pressed against his chest, he lowered his lips down to her ear, she breathed heavy as she felt his breath on her ear, he just smirked against it before twirling her back to face him. Their hands found one another before they started to sway, they moved in unison, retracing the steps they had learned, performing them just as good, maybe even better then last time. Their eyes never left one another, it felt almost intimate, the way they felt against one another, the hand on her back, they way he slowly moved it up to the middle of her back. He had a sense of desperation in his eyes with a mix of lust, she could tell he was hesitating to try and not give in to temptations whenever his eyes looked down at her lips. Draco dipped her backwards again, this time he kept her there, his eyes looked her up and down before he slowly lowered his lips, gently pressing them on her exposed chest, she closed her eyes as his lips lingered on her skin, trailing up to her neck. He pulled his lips away and lifted her back up, their faces close "Can you do something for me?" he asked and she nodded "Stay away from the outside of the castle~" he whispered "Why?~" she asked in the same tone "Just do as I say mud blood" he twirled her and let go, leaving her to stumble to her feet and he walked toward the stairs "Can you do another thing for me?" he asked, not looking at her "Try to stay away from me as well..." he said, his tone sounded shaken as he walked up to his dorm, closing the door as she stood there, confused.
