The Surprise

JOE'S POV

I woke up before Amber today so I wanted to surprise her, I went into the main shopping city in Paris and brought myself a guitar then I brought some candles and a lighter to light them with and finally I brought a few battery operated fairy lights and a stool. I then went to the Eiffel tower, well a couple of feet in front of it and placed the candles around me in a heart shape and around those I placed the fairy lights again in a heart shape. In the center of the heart I put a stool and sat down and I sent Amber a text:

Me: Hey beautiful get dressed quickly and get down to the Eiffel tower I have a surprise for you. I love you xxxxx

Amber: I wondered where you went when I woke up I'm already dressed see you in 5 I love you too :) xxxxx

I waited for a while and then I saw her walking towards her she looked amazing! I started to play the guitar and started to sing, 'It's all about you... it's all about you baby...' she started to cry because it made her happy and my heart melted at how cute she looked. When the song had finished I put down my guitar and walked over to her I picked her up and kissed her. 'Did you like your surprise?' I asked, she nodded unable to get words out at the time. 'I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me' I said really happily. I then took out a box from my back pocket, 'I know I haven't known you for a really long time but you mean the world to me. Please will you be Mrs Sugg?' She responded instantly 'Of course I will, I love you' she replied tears coming down her face, happy tears! Phew I thought to myself, I wasn't sure if I had rushed into things but why wait if you know she's the one?

I took her out to dinner at a cozy French restaurant and then we strolled along the beach hand in hand. I was crazy enough to paddle in the sea with my jeans just rolled up but a big wave came along and soaked me making Amber laugh so I ran up to her and picked her up. I ran into the sea with her in my arms and made us both get drenched this made me laugh too. After splashing around for a while we walked out of the sea, I took us to a clothes shop and brought us both a change of clothes so that we weren't walking around in wet clothes. This was the perfect day, we both went into a pub and drank some drinks to celebrate our engagement. We had about 3 or 4 glasses of wine when we decided to go back to the hotel and we made love for a second time but this time was better than the first and less awkward.

(The next day)

I got out my vlogging camera because I forgot to vlog yesterday because of all the excitement and told my viewers what I did yesterday. Then I went to wake Amber up, we were both a little bit hungover so we ordered room service and I went out to buy us a DVD to watch in bed. Amber had requested a Rom-Com so I brought labour pains and bridesmaids, I didn't mind watching girly films as long as I was with my girl. However Amber seemed a little bit off today, I wasn't sure if she didn't feel well or if she was off with me. I started to get a little bit sad and worried but I didn't want to mention anything in-case she thought that I was off with her.

She ran to the bathroom and I could hear her being sick, I walked into the bathroom to her where she was crying, 'it's alright baby, Joe's here' I held her hair back and when she had finally finished being sick I picked her up and put her back in bed. It was unusual for Amber to be ill and I was slightly worried. To cheer her up I went out and brought her some chocolates but when I returned to the room she wasn't there but she left a note saying she had just popped out for a little and not to worry. 30 minutes later she returned holding a pharmacy bag, 'Don't worry, I just went to see if there was anything to make me feel better and they gave me some tablets' then she ran into the bathroom which was very strange of her.

AMBER'S POV

I ran into the bathroom and locked the door, I couldn't tell Joe the real reason I went to the pharmacy. I got out a pregnancy test from the bag and followed the instructions. Now all I had to do was to wait 3 minutes. Joe walked to the outside of the door, 'baby? Are you okay? You're scaring me'

'I'm fine' I replied even though I wasn't fine. 3 minutes was now up and I looked at the pregnancy test. Positive. OMG! What should I do? I couldn't tell Joe what if he was angry and didn't want to be with me anymore? I started to cry. 'Baby?' Joe said. I threw the test into the bin and unlocked the door. 'I'm fine Joe honestly. I just have... to nip out for a minute' and with that I went on a walk to clear my head and think.

JOE'S POV

Now she really was scaring me what was going on? I walked into the bathroom scared that she had hurt herself again but I saw a pregnancy test box on the floor near to the toilet. I looked into the bin and got out the pregnancy test. Positive. What was I going to do? I knew that Amber would feel scared and upset so I left the hotel to try and find her. I walked around for what seemed like a hour before spotting her on a park bench starring at the sea while crying. I walked over and sat next to her, 'Amber.. I know' I said.

'Y-you know?' she asked.

'Yes, why didn't you just tell me?'

'Are you going to leave me now?' she asked.

'Of course not, I love you and I am going to stick by you through this' I kissed her on the forehead and we cuddled on the bench for hours before heading back to the hotel to sleep.
