Important Note to My Readers

I think it’s time for a reality check.

Every day, I’m getting flooded with requests for updates, constant nagging, and complaints about targets. But before you point fingers at me for “making you suffer,” let me ask you— what about me?

I’m preparing for the biggest exam of my life, dealing with studies that eat up almost my entire day, managing family responsibilities as the eldest child, and still struggling with my own mental, physical, and emotional health. Out of 24 hours, I barely get 2 hours for myself. And yet, instead of taking the complete 6-month break that I should have taken ideally (like many other writers do), I still choose you-- my readers. I sacrifice my sleep, sometimes barely sleeping 3 hours for 4-5 days, just to give you one single chapters.

And what do I get in return?
Incomplete targets. Insufficient votes. Barely 10 new followers per chapter. Not even 20 subscribers on my YouTube channel. And endless nagging.

Do you really think this is fair? Do you think I don’t deserve appreciation for the time, energy, and love I pour into every single chapter? Is asking for a few votes, comments, or follows really too much in exchange for all of that?

Let me be very clear: targets will stay. Chapters will unlock only when targets are completed— whether you like it or not.

This isn’t about being rude. This is about me valuing my hard work and setting boundaries.

If you call yourself a “loyal reader,” then prove it— not through empty words, but through actions. Loyalty means constantly supporting, understanding, and appreciating, not just demanding and complaining.

And honestly, no offense but my Scrollstack readers—who actually pay to read—have never once pressured me about updates. They understood me. Yet here, despite me giving my work for free, the pressure is endless.

I love my Wattpad readers equally, and I have never done favoritism. But I will no longer allow myself to be guilt-tripped or taken for granted. I’ve been patient, I’ve been understanding— but now it’s your turn to be considerate.

So think about it. Put yourself in my shoes for once. If you truly value my stories and efforts, show it. Otherwise, silence and nagging won’t get you chapters— support will.
