Third POV

   The sun was setting, turning the grapes in the winery's premises a beautiful gold as a dark blue haired figure traipsed his way towards the mansion delicately holding a scroll in one hand and a mask in the other. In an unexpected turn of events, the Cavalry Captain had found himself at the doorstep of his adoptive brother's place. Kaeya rarely visited outside of official business, or occasionally to annoy his hot headed brother to no end. Despite the frequency in which he came and went, he never wished to linger for long. The winery was a place that reminded him of unpleasant childhood memories where the periwinkle eyed male knew he wouldn't be welcomed. Today was an exception to that rule. He wasn't here for Diluc or on behalf of the Acting Grandmaster. He was here for personal reasons.

   As the man reached the heavy oak doors, he rapped on the knocker with purpose. After a few moments, a familiar blond haired woman with emerald eyes appeared in the doorway.
   "Master Kaeya, what are you doing here?" Adelinde, the head maid asks the dark skinned male in a polite but clipped manner as she positions herself carefully in front of the door to bar him from entry. Finding her actions amusing, Kaeya chuckles as the maid's emerald gaze comes to rest on his periwinkle one as he opens his mouth to speak.
   "Is Diluc home by chance?" He asks the shorter female as she pauses for a moment, debating whether it's worth informing him of her boss's whereabouts.
   "No...he's not." She begins as her wise steely gaze scrutinizes the man, searching for his true intentions for the impromptu visit. "If you've come to bother your brother this evening, I've been given strict instructions to not permit you entry into the mansion tonight." Adelinde finishes before waiting expectantly for his answer.
   "As much as I'd love to give him a hard time. I wouldn't dare to give such a lovely lady any trouble." Kaeya answers, a playful smirk on his face before gently placing his lips to the woman's pale hand. At this, most women would turn as red as a Jueyun chili and melt at his touch. Adelinde however, had grown up caring for both of them. She was simply impervious to his charms.
   "I have no time for your games Master Kaeya, if you're not going to explain the reason for your visit and insist on wasting my time, then I'll be going." The blond declares as she glares unamusedly at the male.
   "It was worth a shot." He quips back as she begins to shut the door in his face. Before she does though, a black boot wedges itself between the door.
   "Wait wait wait..." Kaeya begins smoothly, careful not to show a hint of the panic that bloomed in his chest at the thought of her closing the door. Hastily, he gently pushes it open wider with his foot. "It's actually a good thing that my brother isn't here. I require the use of his office library to look into something important." He answers as she gives a nod.
   "Very well. I'll let you in then." The emerald eyed lady informs him, ceasing to question the male any further as she opens the door to let him in.
