(Y/n)'s POV
As the sun graces us with its warm glow, the strong wind swirls around Starsnatch Cliff. Accompanied by the Cecilias peacefully growing around us at this elevation, we take our position at the very edge of the outcropping, but far enough away that we aren't in danger of plummeting to an untimely demise. While the six of us gather around, the dark haired musician is poised to play the Holy Lyre as he opens his mouth to speak.
"Any last concerns you wish to voice before I begin?" He asks politely. While his words are light and lively, the meaning beyond them is full of seriousness. We have reached the point of no return. As soon as he begins to play, anything could happen. The bard feels obligated to make sure we have put any lingering fears or otherwise to rest.
"I do. Although we may be able to negotiate with Stormterror, there is a good chance that we will have to fight. Please be ready for that." The wine tycoon warns us as everyone nods in agreement.
"While I cannot guarantee that this confrontation will not come to blows, Dvalin is still my friend. We used to listen to the songs of the wind together and sing Ode to the Dandelion together. These memories are near and dear to my heart so I hope that we won't have to put an end to him." Venti replies in a serious manner, traces of sadness lacing his tone as I take my turn to speak up.
"We will do our best to protect both ourselves and rescue Dvalin, but ultimately fate will decide what becomes of him." I reply. While it's not exactly the words the teal eyed man wanted to hear, he understands that no promises can be made in a case like this. Fate is an unpredictable thing and always has been. I won't make a promise that I'm not certain I can keep. Even still, there are some promises that must be broken for better or for worse.
I'm broken out of my thoughts by the dark haired male who clears his throat to catch our attention.
"With all concerns laid to rest, I shall now work to perform my best. I, Venti, the most esteemed wandering bard in the mortal realm will now commence the summoning of the Dragon of the East." The musician declares as his fingers hover above the strings. Venti gets down to business, his long but slender fingers plucking the strings in a mesmerizing dance as the sound emanating from them displays a delicate but melodious tune, reminiscent of winds of hope. Before he can continue, the sound of rumbling can be heard as the ground underneath us begins to shake and the wind picks up into a gale storm. Something large is approaching us rapidly at high speeds. That something quickly makes itself known as a familiar large turquoise dragon rises over the crest of the cliff with an ear splitting roar.
