Chapter 30
Justin’s POV “Brother?” I exclaimed. I couldn’t believe this. How was that possible? How are they brother and sister? Oh Justin you got yourself into stupid situation. “Lyra is your sister?” I asked him. “And I thought you were dead man!”
I pushed them back into the room and shut the door behind me. “Yes, she’s my sister asshole. How the hell do you know her? And I happened to be held hostage thanks for never saving me.”
“I’ve been trying to find this guy who I thought killed you Tyler. I didn’t know this mother fucker has been keeping you under a cage this entire time.” I muttered looking around at this disgusting place.
“So how do you and Lyra know each other?” I looked over at her and she sighed before mouthing, ‘you owe me.’
“Justin is my boyfriend.” She wasn’t the best liar but I could already tell Tyler believed her.
Suddenly, Tyler’s fist was made in contact with my left cheek. It didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would considering Tyler used to be hell of a strong guy, but it wasn’t a bad hit. “Hey, best friend, haven’t seen you in a long time!” I smiled.
He was giving me a serious glare before he busted out a smile and came forward giving me a hug. I patted him on the back and I could already see Lyra’s face slightly dropping. She looked confused. “You are a little bitch, this isn’t going to be the last time I’ll be hitting you.” He pointed at me but I knew it was all out of love. We would fight all the time a couple years ago. It was a hobby.
“Uh, yeah I would love to answer more questions for both of you but…we should probably get out of here before security runs into us here.” Lyra explained thoroughly.
“We will… after I break ever limb of the guy who did this.” I gritted my teeth, getting angrier and angrier at this man. Once I see him, I will love to hurt every inch of his body until he’s fully damaged. I may not be a people person, but in my gang, I’ve got their back when one man goes down. Especially Tyler, him and I were always good friends and he was always my favorite.
Lyra suddenly slapped me on the shoulder. “No! We need to get the fuck out of here first!”
“Justin’s right Lyra…this guy needs to pay. You don’t understand how bad I wanted to hurt him.” He clenched his fists angrily, turning them pale white.
“What? Todd…” She cutely spoke. Maybe Tyler never spoke of any of us that is, probably why Lyra never heard of me or any of us. It makes sense that they’re related. I was just shocked that they were because I never added two and two together. I mean, when I first saw Lyra years ago I never thought that that was Tyler’s sister. I knew she looked oddly familiar; they look alike with their hazel eyes and dark hair. I mentally smacked myself for not realizing that sooner.
“Is Derek here?” Tyler asked. I could tell he was in pain because Lyra’s arm was connected with his, trying to keep him from falling down.
I nodded before remembering the chip in my ear. “Derek?” I called. “Derek?” No answer through the chip. I think it was broken. Lyra tried too. She shook her head signaling hers doesn’t work either. Angrily, I took it out of my ear and crushed it against the wall.
“You guys stay here, I’ll be back. Just don’t leave this room.” I pointed my finger at them strictly before running out. I skipped the elevator and instead ran down the flight of stairs. I ran and ran until I got the first floor. I casually walked past a couple people with them not even paying attention to me. I ran out of the building and all the way across the road where Derek and my car was parked.
