Sixteen: its time part 3/ lux

Katy POV
I can't do it. I can't do it again. It hurts to much! I don't think I have enough energy to last this.
"One more push, Katy." The doctor instructed.
"I can't." I cried.
"Come on, baby. Just one more and it will be all over." Daemon whispered.
I took a deep breath and used the rest of the energy I had. By now the lights were flickering. It wasn't till I here's the most beautiful thing next to adam's cry, that I knew I was finished. All the pain has brought two beautiful creatures into the world. The handed lux to me after daemon cut the umbilical cord and cleaned her off. They take her out to do a check up on her.
"Thank you, kat." Daemon said. I look over at him to find that he was crying. Crying tears of joy. "Thank you for giving me these two wonderful babies. Thank you for putting up with my crap and I know it's not that easy to deal with all the time. I could go on with the things that I am thankful for, but then we would be hear forever." I laughed a bit at the last part. After what he said, I was in more tears. Before he could say anything else I closed the distance between us and kissed him.
A nurse interrupted us and brought in the twins. In was in a baby blue blanket and the other was in a pink one. Daemon held lux while the nurse handed me Adam. He had little tuffs of black hair. I could tell he was going to be a handsome as his father. I kissed him lightly on his head carful not to wake him. I look over at daemon and Lux. Daemon sits on the bed so I could see her face more. She had little tuffs of light brown hair. She was awake and starring inventively at her dad with her bright, violet eyes. She looks over at me and a hint of a smile appears on her little face. She looked more like me.
I look back down to find Adam starring at me with eyes identical to his sister's. He looks over at his father and sister and has a big toothless smile on his face. Daemon chuckles, causing Lux to have an alarming look on her face. This causes us to laugh and have alarming looks on both of them.
Later that day
As I took a nap to regain my energy, Daemon looked after the kids. I wake to find Adam and Lux asleep in Daemon's arms and him smiling down at them. I sat up which got his attention. He got up and walked over to me, putting one in each arm and giving me a kiss.
He walked out of the room to, somewhere. I look down to find both of my babies asleep in my arms. The look so innocent. I wonder how they will be when they get older.
Daemon comes back in the room after what seems like 15 minutes with some guests. First after him comes Dee. She hurries over to my side, careful not to wake the babies. She looks down at them and I can see she is trying not to cry.
"They are so beautiful, Katy." She said. Beth walks over to my other side and congratulations me. Along with Dawson and Archer. Daemon just stood at the end of the bed and smiled. I smiled back and looked down to see they were awake and looking around at everyone.
"Can I hold one?" Dee asked.
"Of course." I hand her Lux carefully and hand Adam to Beth. I'm not to worried about Beth holding Adam seeing as though she raises Ashley, but I keep an eye on Dee. Daemon could sense my worry because he goes over to dee's side. I look over at Ashley who is sitting on a chair looking bored as ever. "Hey, Ashley. Come over here." I told her, patting an area by me. She runs over and plops down in the spot.
"Do you want to hold one of your cousins?" I asked her. She nodded eagerly. Lifted her on to my lap and instructed Daemon to put Lux in her arms. I helped her hold her head and Beth took a picture.
The twins started getting sleepy so we put them in the bed things and everyone went home. Daemon went to sleep pretty quickly, I couldn't blame him. It was a long day. I layed back and turned the tv on. I watched a few movies until I fell asleep.

I have been thinking a lot about doing the divergent story. I only got one comment on it though, (BTW, thank you for that comment). But I might. I don't have it all planed out so it might take a while till it is up. In the mean time, keep commenting so I know I should post it.
