Six: Telling The Family

Katy POV
It's been three days since we found out. We still have not told anyone yet. We plan to today when everyone is here, including Luc. We have not seen him since the wedding.
We have also been trying to think about other things when we were around origin. We have succeeded in the process. Just a few more hours and we can let the news out. I'm really exited and I could tell Daemon was too. All day we kept looking at the clock, waiting for the final bell to go off.
The lunch bell goes off and we all head to Mc. Donald's for lunch. (A/N I don't know what collage is like yet, so bare with me here.) Dee, Beth, and I go sit at a table while the guys go get our food. Ashley goes to a daycare nearby. One she has recommended to me.
We start talking about Dee's wedding as the boys wait for the order. We are going dress shopping this Saturday. The only thing they have left to get was a dress anyway. They scheduled the wedding to be February 28th. The theme colors were a vary light shade of pink and white. Which for it to be Dee's wedding, it's not vary surprising. The reason they had the date set far was because Dee wants the wedding to be absolutely perfect. Which, in fact, it is.
The boys come back from getting out food and sit down. Dawson shots with Beth, Archer sits with Dee, and finally, Daemon sits with me. We hold hands under the table and talk about random things.
We get back to campus and back to classes. The more time passes by the more nervous I get. During one of the switching class time things, whatever you call it, I ran to go vomit. Luckily it was not during class.
After my last class, I head home. I arrive and head to the bathroom to take a shower. As I'm in the shower I hear Daemon open the math room door. I know what he is doing, considering I'm married to him. He opens the shower door and steps in. He looks me in the eyes and then up and down. He puts a hand on my cheek and huts his other and raps it around me. He pulls me close to him and kisses me. After about an hour we were done with the shower.
We get ready for them to arrive. I put on a grey tank top and some denim shorts. I put my hair into a messy bun and don't bother with makeup. Daemon dresses in a black shirt with some ripped denim jeans. Vary casual.
They finally start arriving at around 7:00. Dee and Archer were the first to come. Then Beth and Dawson, with Ashley of course. Then, last but not least, Luc. Dinner was ready and put out. Everyone sat down and dug in.
About thirty minutes later I got up to get desert. I had the idea of getting a cake that said we're expecting, and had a rattle and a pacifier by it. I place the cake in the middle of the table so everyone could see it. We let our thoughts go for the two origin in the room.
Dee was the first to react. She ran up and gave me a death grip of a hug.
"Dee I think Kat needs to breath, so the air can get to the baby." Daemon chuckled.
"Oh, right. I guess I got a bit to exited. I just so happy!" Dee squealed.
Ashley just sits at the table with a confused expression as everyone congratulates us. I squeeze past them and sit by Ashley. "Are you ok, Ashley?" I asked
"I don't get it, what are you guys so exited about?" She asks in her cute little kids voice.
"It means there will be another baby around here." I reply.
"Where? I don't see it." She asks confused.
I put a hand on my flat stomach and explain, "The baby is not here yet. It will have to grow. But right now, it is in here." I point to my abdomen.
She smiles and replies, "When will I get to play with it?"
"Well you can't for a will, sweaty. But I promise, when he or she is able to get around better, I will schedule lots of play dates you two an have." I reply, smiling at the thought.
We all eat some of the cake and put the left overs in the refrigerator. They all stay for a bit longer and then go back home.

Another chapter done. I was thinking if I should even do a chapter today, but I got bored. So here you go.
