Eighteen- Dee

Katy pov
I woke to the sound of crying. I look at the clock next to me. 3:04. Last time it was 2:14. I try to get up, but Titan the crying stops. I get a bit worried and run to the nursery.
The twins have been inseparable, so daemon and archer had to more lux's stuff to Adam. We agreed that the boys will redo the room later in the day.
I walk in to see daemon with lux in his arms, rocking her carefully. She keeps her eyes hard on her father that I don't know if she even blinks. Without them still knowing I'm here, I lean up against the door and watch. As I settle in, lux moves her questioning eyes over to me. Her smile widens, but not as much as it does when she sees her brother. She reaches her arms out as if telling me to hold her. I walk over and take her out of daemon's arms, being careful with her head.
Daemon gets up from the rocking chair and goes over to a stirring Adam. Adam makes a girgling noise, known for when he wakes. Daemon picks up his son and cradles him in his arms. They look at each with two loving gazes. Adam with a look of love and admiration, and Daemon, with a look of proudness on his face. I smile at the two and look down seeing lux in asleep. I stand and put her in the crib and daemon places Adam next to her, watching him fall fast asleep with his sister by his side.

The next morning I feel exhausted. I can see Daemon is too, considering he did not want to go out of bed. So I let him sleep in a bit longer. He did stay up with the twins most of the night.
I go down to make breakfast, but first I check on the twins. The are snuggling up together and sound asleep. I take a picture of them. I'll post it on my blog later.
I go down and pull out pancake mix and bacon. As I was putting the bacon in the oven, there was a knock at the door. I quickly set the bacon and run to the door. I open it to see Dee standing there with her cheery face on, but something in her eyes.
"Can I come in?" She asks.
"Yeah, sorry the place in a mess, I had no time to clean yet. The twins and Daemon are still asleep tho." I told her.
"Oh, ok."
Now I knew something was up. We go to the kitchen and I resume cooking breakfast.
"Katy, I can tell you anything, right?" She asks, obviously worried.
"Yeah, of course!" I reassure her.
"Well, umm, archer wants a baby. I just, I just don't know if I'm ready. I mean,we are still young, no offense. I love ash, Adam, and Lux. But...." She lets out a frustrated breath.
" Dee. This is honestly your choice. If you ar not ready, then your not ready. We have our whole lives to have kids. No need to rush into it. On behalf of you, that is." We bust out laughing at the last part. "But on a serious note. Talk with archer. Tell him if your ready or not. But, don't tell daemon yet." Dee giggles a little.
"Yeah. No kidding. I just need some women's advice on this."
"The hell are you asking me, I have two!" That got us going. We laughed for what seemed like forever, or at least till the twins woke.

Not a vary exiting chapter, I know. But here is why... Drum roll please..........
I have not updated in a while, school just started back up, and I have a cross country meet tomorrow. I have not been able to read a lot. 😰😰😰 I have been busy with homework and running 1 1/2- 2 miles a day. So I apologize for not updating much. But I'm trying. So bare with me now.
Thank you so much for all the votes. I have decided I will not write a divergent fanfic till I have completed one of my stories so I can keep up with my updates. So please be patient.
