Twenty-two: The Results

Daemon POV

My poor angel. I can't believe that she is in this state. She has me wrapped around her finger good.

We arrive at the hospital and I get her out and wrap a blanket around her. She coughs what sounds like a really painful cough and continues to cry.

"It will be ok baby. Just wait a few minutes." I rush up to the emergency room and get a nurses attention. "Can you get Dr. Shay? It's an emergency." The nurse rushes me and Lux to a room and goes to find Dr. Shay. About a few minutes later the doctor walks in and goes strait to Lux and does a check up on her.

"I don't know what it is. I've never seen an origin do this. How long has she been away from her brother?"

"Umm, about an hour and a half?" I say more as a question.

"That can't be it than. There has never been twin origin before. If there has, Nancy must have done something with them." She gives it a little thought than, like a lightbulb lit ip in her head, she faces me like she has a thought. "How strong in Adam, like how strong are his abilities so far?"

"Maybe as strong as a regular origin."

"He is not supposed to be that strong yet. They are twins. They need to have their abilities split. There is nothing we can do about it, but Lux will always be the weaker of the two. She will have colds and fevers, bit she will also have some abilities. Think about her being as strong as your wife. She will either be stronger or weaker. It really just depends on her. I'm sorry, but all you can do now is treat her cold as if she was a human child."

All I could do was nod. I try to talk in all the information. Lux isn't a strong origin. I have to tell Katy. How will she take it. I strap lux in the car seat and get into the drivers seat. I dial Katy's number while pulling out. Once she answers I tell her everything.

Well, there you go. Told you I had a plan. Little plot twist there.
