(Prom night )
Rachels pov :
Its been 1 month since Finn and I broke up and I've been a train wreck. Proms tonight but I've decided not to go because A.I don't have a dress and B. I don't want to see Finn. I was at home in my pj's when there was a knock on my door. I got up and opened the door thinking it was the chinese man when really it was all the glee girls and Kurt. "Why aren't you dress proms tonight." Santana said. "I'm not going." I told them . "What Rachel this is your last prom your not going to get another chance to do this." Kurt said. "It doesn't matter Kurt I don't even have a dress ." I said. "Yes you do." Quinn said and gave me a box that said , "Chanel." I looked at Quinn and opened the box and pulled out a beautiful light pink dress. "Quinn its beautiful but I can't go." I said. "And why not?" She asked me . "I don't want to see Finn. " I told her. "Girl, you can't let that stop you." Mercedes said. "Yeah Rachel this is our last prom together . We're never going to get to do this again." Tina said. "And it won't be the same without you. " Brittney said. "Fine I'll go." I said. "Great . Now lets go get you ready." Quinn said.
Finns pov :
I was at prom hanging out with Puck when I saw Rachel with her friends . I smiled she looked so beautiful. I walked up to her , I haven't talked to her in a month. "Hi." I said. "Hi." She said back. "You look beautiful. " I said. She smiled and said, "Thank you. " "Look Rachel," "Finn you don't have to explain yourself . I'm not here to fight with you I'm here because of my friends . " She said. "I know but I just wanted to apoligize for everything. " I said. "I know." She said. I looked at her and for a moment I wanted to kiss her . "Okay everyone its time to announce prom king and queen so will all the nominees come up here." Mr.Shuester said. "You should go ." She said. "Right." I said and went up on stage. "And our prom king is .... Finn Hudson. " Everyone clapped for me and I got my crown but all I could think about was Rachel. "And our prom queen is ......" Mr.Shue paused and then said , "Well it looks at if our prom queen isn't one of our runners so this years prom queen is.... Rachel Berry. " He said.
Rachels pov :
Everyone looked at me shocked as the spotlight went on me . I was in shock as well . Is this some kind of joke ? I asked myself but it wasn't. "Rachel come and get your crown. " Mr.Shuester said. The crowd cleared a path for me as I made my way to the stage . They put the crown on my and gave me a sash. "Ladies and gentlemen of McKinley High I give you your prom queen and king of 2015!" Mr.Shue said. "I ask you to clear the floor as they have there first offical dance together. " He added. I looked at Finn and he took my hand and we went onto the floor . "Is this some kind of joke ?" I asked Finn. "Am I going to get pigs blood on me or something like in Carrie?" I asked him as we were dancing. He gentally touch my chin and said , "Hey your beautiful, and sexy and smart. This is your moment and no one can take that away from you." He told me. I sighed and put my head on his shoulder. Why did I let you go? I asked myself. He looked me in the eyes and just as he was about to kiss me I said , "I'm sorry , I can't do this " I told him and ran out.
