Finns pov :
We've been in New York for 2 days and I still haven't talked to Rachel . "Dude just tell her how you feel." Sam said . "How she won't even talk to me ." I said. "Take her out on a date. " Puck said . "Again she won't even talk to me." I said. "Give me your phone ." Puck said. I gave him my phone and then he started to do something. "What are you doing?" I asked him. He didn't answer me and then when he finished he gave me back my phone and said , "There , I texted Rachel and told her to meet me at central park at 5 and dress fancy . Now go make a reservation for a classy place ." He said. "Oh and don't forget to get her some flowers ." He said.
Rachels pov :
I was in the hotel room with the girls . They were having a pillow fight and I was writing a song for Nationals because our theme is orginal songs. I was writing when suddenly my phone buzzed . I picked it up and it was a text from Finn saying to meet him at central park at 5 and to dress fancy . I smiled and saw that it was 4:40 so I got read . 20 minutes later I entered Central Park and was at the bridge when I saw Finn. I smiled at him and he said , "You look beautiful." He told me. "Thank you." I said. "Look I just wanted to let you know that this is strictly business nothing more , nothing less. " He told me. "Okay. So where are we going?" I asked him. "Well I made reservations at Sardi's ." He told me. "Wow I never been there ." I said . "Me neither ." He said. 20 minutes later we were sitting down eating dinner when he said, "So are you nervous about your audition for NYADA?" He asked me. "Yes. I had this awful dream that I forgot the lyrics to my song. " I told him. "What song ?" He asked me. "Don't Rain On My Parade. " I told him. "Oh." He said. "What? " I asked. "Nothing its just I think you should do something a little bit more personal. " He told me. "Like what?" I asked. "Well you like Funny Girl , so why not do My Man." He suggested. "You think Carmen would like it?" I asked him. "Yeah I mean you love the song and you do have a personal connection. " He told me. I smiled and said, "Okay My Man it is then." I said. "Great." He said . "Omg." I said. "What? " He asked me. "Don't look but Patti LaPone is right in front of us." I said. "What are you waiting for go talk to her." He said. "Okay Kurt will kill me if I don't. " I said. I then got up and said , "Excuse me Ms.LaPone I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan and you're one of my biggest role models." I told her. "Why thank you um..." "Rachel , Rachel Berry. " I told her. "Well Ms.Rachel Berry where are you from?" She asked me. "Lima , my glee club is here for Nationals. " I told her. "Well I wish you good luck and is that your boyfriend over there starring at us?" She asked me ."Oh um he's just my friend, sorta." I said. "Well he's cute ." She said and walked away. I smiled and sat back down . Later we were outside walking in the streets of Manhattan when I started to get cold. "Here have my jacket. " Finn said and then gave it to me . "Rachel." He said. "Yeah?" I said. "Look I know these past few months have been screwed up but I think you should know that when I made that bet I didn't think I fall for you the way I did . Everything about you is amazing. You've made me feel things I never thought I could feel. The thing is Rachel Berry I love you and I never want to stop." He told me. I felt shocked ,"Finn I don't know what to say." I said. "You don't have to say anything just kiss me." He said . He then leaned in but I backed away . "I'm sorry Finn I just can't do this." I told him. "Hey I'm not just some guy you met in a music store , you can't just blow me off. Take chance on me Rachel ." He begged. "I'm sorry I can't." I said and gave him his jacket and walked away.
